Haha, I love you Windy. When I saw you posted in this thread I said to myself, "I bet he mentions Race to the Line!". It took a while but you finally did in your first post in this thread. Nice.

I was going to wait until this hit the Price Drop Section in the 3DS E-shop but decided to take a chance on it:

The game it's self is pretty good. A little steep in price for $6. It's basically like a sequel to Parking Star's 3DS only at a slightly higher price tag attached to it. Around the same type of graphics too. I do really like the capsule machines. There are two capsule machines one that use's Play Coins (10 per capsule) Or in game currency for 50G.

So far cute game!

To those that truly want this game & are die hard racing fans. Wait until it goes on sale.

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

Uh actually you open up more Gatcha Ball Machines when you beat the Circuit race on each level. On top of that you get a random special machine which pops out of nowhere to offer you a Rare instantly. I actually have 8 different Gatcha Ball machines I can buy from in my game. Each has a different Rank and different items which you can get. I have been playing about 22 hours so far and I'm Rank B. I think I'm really close to beating the game my current vehicle is blowing away the tracks currently. I have yet to see the Formula 1 races though. I doubt my current car could beat a formula 1 car

Haha there is no forgiveness for Race to Line! We did a funny thing years ago at a Videogame store which used to be at Sahara and Rainbow near Home Depot up there. They were closing the store and having a clearance on all of their inventory. Me and my buddy noticed they had about 20 copies of Rise of The Robots which we considered to be one of the worst games ever made. Well my buddy buys all 20 copies of the game takes them out to the parking lots and places them like Mines in the street. We sit out there for about an hours watching cars run them over. We did get a kick out of it. He said he was saving anyone from playing the worst game ever made. He paid 20 bucks for all 20 copies of the game. I actually wouldn't consider Race to the Line the Worst game I have ever played but maybe the worst Racing game. If it was on cartridge It would be a good thing to have it ran over lol

Just as I thought. I entered the Formula 1 race on Rank A and could get nowhere near the lead. I did take 4rth in the race.

It would have made a great 8 player online Racing game.Would have been wonderful. It has been a nice single player experience. I haven't collected all the cars. I may start on that soon but I'm very close to beating the game. Turns out the game is about 25 to 30 hours long. So it has a good deal of content. But knowing what I know now I could probably cut the playtime in half and blow through the game by fixing up one car

So the Japanese name is Gacha Racing, after Gachapon. That makes a lot more sense. I'm going to call it Gacha Racing from now on.

Yeah I wish they had just kept the original name of the game.

Well it's time to bury the hatchet with Race to the Line. I won't be mentioning that one anymore lol. I guess comparing that review for almost a couple years has been over the top.

Has anyone here ever watched the old Speed Racer anime/cartoons from the 1960's? This would be a perfect way to make a make a Videogame based on that series. What do you think? I was in First grade when Speed Racer first aired on public television. Back when kids used to walk to school on their own. After school I would run home to catch the 330pm showing of Kimba the white Lion then Speed Racer right after. Both were my favorites back then.

What? NOOOOOO! Don't stop mentioning it. I wasn't pointing it out because I thought it was annoying; I love it when you break out the reference.

Haha. Well you never know. Maybe there will be something to compare it too. They still haven't reviewed Gacha Racing. Maybe it won't take me long to break it out lol. Seriously Gacha Racing is so much better racing and content I just don't see it getting a lower score than Race to Line. But weirder things have happened.

BTW guys I came close to beating Gacha Racing last night. I came in 2nd place on the last Circuit. The car I'm using is just not quite fast enough. I just need 3 good engines to combine with my beautiful blue and black Horizon R. Once I combine for higher top speed 3 or 4 times that last circuit will be mine. I still have not got any formula 1 cars as prizes nor any of the cool graphic GT cars. I hope you can get those. I will be bummed if they don't drop

My save file is 26 hours so far. So 25 to 30 hours of decent racing and part collecting. Well worth 5.99 of my hard earned money. Thanks for porting this Natsume! I wish the game had online 8 player races. It would have been awesome

I mentioned that previously. An article about it mentioned it was used to race against someone's ghost data.

Well I'm happy too see that the games got a great review as it deserves. It's definitely a good experience. I beat the game last night at 29 hours on my save file. It actually would have been longer but I got a super rare car from the gatcha balls. I got a GT car from the Gacha Balls which was 10 points higher in every category than any car I had built up. I immediately beat the final track with it. I'm actually thinking of erasing my save file and starting over. Knowing what I know now I think I could cut the game in half in respect to play time.

I erased my game and started over. It took me about an hour to beat the beginner Rank. I'm so glad cause it feels so slow compared to Racing at Rank A.
