First of all my apologies if this question has been answered already, I couldn't find information about it. So, I just got my first 3DS back (repaired) and I was wondering... can I have 2 3DS with my account information and my games from the Nintendo Store? I know I can do a transfer between 3DS but is there a way to not empty the "older 3DS"?

I was wondering because I like the idea of having the 3DS XL on my house and the small one on the go but if I can't have the same games on both....
Yeah as far as games go if you want them on a second system you have to purchase them again unless you transfer your account to that system. I guees you could just transfer you stuff back and forth each time you want to play the said system but that may get annoying after awhile.

When you transfer an account from one console to another, it completely wipes the original system — it's a move, not a copy. You cannot have the same account, games etc. on two consoles — you must completely move it from one to another.

Same here. I would definitely get a 3DSXL if I could share the downloaded games. This also applies to the digital download of games like New Super Mario Bros 2. If you get the cartridge you can play it in all your systems, but not with the download.
