emiru69 commented on Nintendo Confirms That Miiverse on 3DS Won't A...:

It reminds me to the attitude that companies like "Chuck E. Cheese" have in the USA. For those not familiar with this company, it's a fast food chain with terrible food with an arcade section (many kids celebrate their birthday there). Well, you CAN'T go to the Arcade section if you are alone, you are only allowed to enter if you have a kid. Why try to keep an eye on your kids? Let's assume that everyone is a pedo instead of punishing people based on individual basics right? That sounds fair.

So basically my friend list is completely useless since I can't receive messages or send messages to my friends using the 3DS. In other news I heard that someone sent inappropriate letters to children using the United States Post Office...
LET'S STOP THE POST OFFICE!!!

@TrueWiiMaster: I was wrong about the number of animals that display homosexual behavior the list is actually higher over 500 documented over 1,500 observed. The list includes Mammals, Birds, Fish, Reptiles, Amphibians, Insects and other invertebrates. The most complete list so far was done by researcher and author Bruce Bagemihl's 1999 book Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity. The most "stable" homosexual relationship in the animal kingdom (as far as know today) are the dolphins. Not only they have monogamous relationships but if one of the partners die they don't mate with anyone else until their dead.
I just want equal rights, I just want to get married with the person I love, with the person that I've been living for the last 7 years of my life. You said "Everyone has the same rights right now". Not true, I paid more taxes because I can't get married. My rights had become some kind of popularity contest in which the left wing and the right wing just try to get the debate heated so they can get more votes. For the last 7 years we had to safe all our money to pay my studies.1/3 of the people who commit suicide in the United States are homosexuals, that's an insane number if you think about the total number of people. Which part of your heterosexual marriage improves by ruining someone else marriage?

Really sad news, unfortunately Japan is really backwards regarding this subject compared to Europe or America.

It is not unnatural. Over 350 species have same sex relationships (some of them even monogamous). Unnatural means “against the laws of nature”. This is not the case.

Justice and Equality are coming, whether you like it or not. You can be part of the change or you can try to fight it but you CAN’T stop it.
“All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression.”

emiru69 commented on Japanese Wii U Virtual Console Launches With 1...:

If there is one thing that Nintendo needs to fix is the difference on titles between Japan and Europe/America. How many times are we going to do this? Is Wii VC all over again, Japan getting titles every week while we get 1 every month... :(

I'm actually really happy about it. E3 in the last few years it's always been frustrating for me. 90% of the critics hating on Nintendo and myself trying to explain some of the great eShop titles or the less popular franchises. I think E3 is a bit too American for Nintendo. I'm not trying to offend anyone but American Marketing is really aggressive compare with Japanese and even European Marketing. I always felt like Nintendo was out of place in this event. Yeah, I know that Sony is a Japanese company too but I think they can adapt better to an American audience because they also sell Tvs, blu rays, movies and other electronics. Nintendo is the only company in the last 10 years that never had a unfriendly or (excuse my expression) bitchy comment directed towards the competition. I still remember that comment from Sony saying that the 3DS was a silly toy for kids a few years ago. Americans love that fanboy trash talk (just check any forum) but the average Japanese finds those comments extremely disrespectful. Now, less stress for me, I can ignore critics all along and enjoy my Nintendo Direct and my Nintendo Life updates!! Have an awesome day everyone!

emiru69 commented on Nintendo Is Sorry For Wii U Load Times, Is Wor...:

Yeah, the loading times are pretty bad and I'm trying Nintendo TVii and is not great either. I just hope that with Nintendo TVii is just a "first day" thing because too many people are trying it at the same time. If the loading times are as bad as today I'm never going to use it.

I wonder too things:
1) Pokemon was created 16 years ago. I hope PETA works faster with real life problems because if this is any indication of how fast PETA works I just feel bad for the REAL endangered species.
2) I wonder why PETA didn't complain about Tokyo Jungle: they are real animals and the game is quite cruel. Oh wait Tokyo Jungle doesn't sell 11 million copies, that's why.

emiru69 commented on Bethesda Yet to Decide on Support for Wii U:

To be honest I'm tired of Bethesda and how people justify their buggy/broken games just because their games are "so ambitious". Well I got Fallout 3, insane quantity of bugs during the first weeks. Fallout New Vegas even worse, and with Skyrim they didn't learn their lesson either. I bought a product that took a year, a whole freaking year to get fixed with constant updates. I know that New Vegas was created by Obsidian Entertainment but still published by Bethesda Softwork. The same thing with the games published by Nintendo, Nintendo still responsible for games that have their signature. This is unacceptable. No other product can be release so broken and be justified by saying "well, it's because our product is really ambitious". I can't buy a Lamborghini and wait a year for the car to work because "it's really ambitious". I don't care about your ambition Bethesda, I care about buying a product that works properly. I understand minor bugs are normal during the first weeks but your bugs are insane. Any other company would be crucify by the press (especially if that company was Japanese) but for some reason Bethesda get away with murder. Well not in my book, you got 3 strikes Bethesday (Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim), you are OUT!

I'm not going to pay more than 250 bucks for the console. Not really excited for the Wii U or any of the games. Kind of sad to be honest, It's the first time since the NES that I'm not going to buy a Nintendo console on the first week.

emiru69 commented on Guide: 3DS XL System Transfer:

I'm really surprised that Nintendo doesn't allow more than one 3DS with the same games. Meaning, my original plan was getting a 3DS XL to play at home and get the small one on the go but what's the point if I can't play any of my eShop/DsiWare games on both consoles? I understand that they want to limit the transfers so people don't abuse this feature but even Sony allows you to have the same digital titles on 2 portable systems at the same time. Well at least I got this feature clear before I purchased my 3DS XL, I just cancelled my pre-order.

emiru69 commented on New Super Mario Bros. 2 eShop Bonus Confirmed ...:

I'm not going to get the digital version because:
1) If I loose my 3DS I will loose my digital games. My account is linked to my 3DS therefore if my 3DS gets stolen for example Nintendo can't recover those games. If I loose a cartridge it will be fustrating but it's just one game.
2) If you are planning to buy a 3DS XL you might want to rethink your digital purchase. You will not be able to play the new Mario in your "old" 3DS and the "new" one. You will have to decide which 3DS will have that game and stick with it because you can't transfer titles more than 5 times. With cartridges that's not an issue, I can use that game in any of my 3DS or let my sister or my brother play with my copy.
3) After one or two generations you will not be able to download that digital copy. Nintendo is not going to have all their digital copies available forever. We already seeing this with some Virtual Console titles. Third parties are taking out their titles because they are not profitable anymore. With the physical copy I will have my game, the same way that my first NES titles still work.
4) There is no real economic value in a digital copy. If you have economic problems you can't sell your old games and get some money out of it in case of personal problems.
5) Yes, having digital copies is more convenient but it just takes me 3 seconds to to put a new game on my 3DS, are we really getting this lazy?

emiru69 commented on Nintendo Offering Incentives for Retail Downlo...:

Not buying a direct download version of the game:
1) If you loose your 3DS you loose your game(your game is linked to your console).
2) If your 3DS dies completely Nintendo can't help you rescue your games.
3) Those online titles are not going to be available forever. After 1 of 2 generations you will not be able to download those titles again. I'm still able to play my first NES cartdrige.
4) There is no economic value on a direct download. You can't resell your games if for personal reasons you need money.
5) The only benefit on direct downloads is time and space. I don't think 3DS cartdriges can create that much of a space problem in your house and it takes me 3 seconds to change from one game to another one. Are really getting this lazy?

I understand that this type of games are not going to break records in Europe or America but companies they really should take advantage of the eShop. I think they will risk less and they only thing they have to do is translate the text.

Really nice article. I'm really happy to get the new 3DS XL. Maybe it's just me getting old but to be honest in some games like Kid Icarus I feel like the screen is two small for me. I can't wait to get the 3DS... I just wish there was a purple XL... I kind of dislike that blue and red colors.

emiru69 commented on Review: Order Up!! (3DS eShop):

I think many people tried the demo and they were disappointed. The demo isn't great because the demo is the tutorial and if you never played the game before you will probably think that you are going to do that part the rest of the game but you are not. The game gives a lot management options like buying new recipes, improve your knives, get new spices, better and faster chefs, improve your kitchen... I played almost 2 hours yesterday. It's the kind of game that is better than you think.

emiru69 commented on Reggie Fils-Aime: Fanbase Demands Are 'Insatia...:

@SuperMinusWorld:
100% with you. I understand that Nintendo wants to keep things secret but I think the time of keeping secrets is kind of dead. Every time some big company tries to keep things so secret ends up backfiring because someone leaked information online.
Also yeah, E3 wasn't great (for anyone). I think as a Nintendo fan was frustrating because Nintendo has good titles coming the next weeks months but there was no comment in any short term launches. Also wasting over 10 minutes to talk about how to play a mini game or showing a game like Batman which is already out for another platforms was pretty bad idea. Maybe in Japan things are different and people are better informed but by giving your new console the name "Wii U" they are just confusing the casual market. I already read 3 articles (one of them on CNN) where they talked about how "Wii U works with your Wii". I think that's going to hurt on sales.

@ kyuubikid213: Did you read my post? I used the example of Playstation Blog because that's communication, people leave messages and some of those questions get answered. Communication is "The exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, signals, writing, or behavior." Again EXCHANGE between two or more people. A video of trailers with a host is not an interchange of information between two people. Also your examples are not really good:
Nintendo Week... (This show was cancelled March 29, 2012 )
Nintendo Show 3D (Not an exchange of information)
Nintendo Direct... (Not an exchange of information)

emiru69 commented on Reggie Fils-Aime: Fanbase Demands Are 'Insatia...:

Fans are asking not only for more but also a better communication between Nintendo and his costumers. Playstation fans have the Playstation Blog with daily news for them. Nintendo needs a better way to communicate with their fans than a short video with titles that are already out. Nintendo needs to understand that Nintendo fans in Europe and America are tired of listening news from Japan regarding: Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney.... and not knowing if they will ever see this titles in their countries. Now Nintendo has their Nintendo eShop well... use it to release titles that your fans want instead of complaining about how your fans are 'Insatiable' Reggie.

@cfgk24: I'm 100% with you. I have older friends who just can't deal with the actual screen of the 3DS. They always say "It's really nice but I just can't read the screen". I'm sure the 3DS XL will be a hit.
