and it's easier to just follow the conventions.

@SuperOtaku Nintendo trademarks a lot of things. They trademarkes 3DSWare and Nintendo 3DSWare but they've never used them and have actually gone on record to say that it's not the correct name.
The correct name, as stated on the Nintendo UK website and in places on Nintendo eShop, is Nintendo 3DS Download Software.

Also, @tendoboy, the same reason why people refer to new systems as "System2", such as "Wii 2" before it was named Wii U. 3DSware distinguishes original 3DS download titles from VC or DSiware games and like Phoenix said it's easier to follow

Um yeah. You made a point and I agree with it. Until Nintendo comes up with an official name, we will just have to stick with calling them "3DSWare". And I highly doubt there ever will be an official name, other than "3DS Downloadable Software".
