@Ralizah Yeah I hadn't considered the massive catalog of indie titles and additionally it's true I'll never be able to play Oregon Trail or Space Quest or even WoW on a console but I guess I was just thinking of big budget games. Lesson learned.

Is this accurate? I actually didn't even know the PC had exclusives. In fact, for all the pros of having a gaming PC I thought this was one of the few downsides.
@Sissyrobyn996 yeah I'm not sure it's a cheap tactic but it's certainly unsubtly manipulative. it being a strategy that's been around a long time doesn't negate that. like the "going out of business" sales the same furniture stores seem to always be having. Or "buy three tires and get the fourth free."

Limited release leads to high demand. But this has been Nintendo's schtick for a while now so no surprise there.
