@Beechbone I have been playing FIFA for over 20 years and I honestly would like to have a console quality FIFA title on the go, and it is absolutely a wet dream to have the same career mode save data no matter where you are.... I had hopes for the vita FIFA titles but they failed because, you know, it's EA... I just hope this switch version would have proper career mode and would not look like FIFA9x (thinking about the 3ds version)
FIFA is a great great franchise that I have been playing for over 20 years. But EA sports really, mmm, sucks. Whatever happens to fifa titles on 3ds, wii, wii u and vita may happen again. Fingers crossed.
Well technically it is not 'banned' in mainland China (not like the Red Alert titles); AR+GPS apps are being considered and the government authority rejects to accept applications for approval for this title and other (seemingly knockoff) titles for now. For your reference, here is the original source in simplified Chinese: http://www.cgigc.com.cn/info/6866.html
Nevertheless, the video game industry in mainland China is already quite morbid, not only because of piracy. Many people, including experts/TV personalities, still consider video games to be a totally bad influence on kids, and now we have oodles of garbage free-to-play mobile 'games' - oh don't get me started.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Image & Form has some incredible personality. I could not believe how many hours I have spent on their two 3ds titles. Heist is absolutely a blast.
Personnally I would be glad to throw in 400 bucks for a deluxe set that could run the Big N titles and FIFA 18 on the go - but the EA part is only my wishful thinking.
