@BrianB I gave the game a pretty high score despite not being in love with the soundtrack. Like I said, the core gameplay is fun enough to where I didn't mind playing the songs. Not going to link to my review since i'm not here to plug my stuff but google is your friend if you wish to read it.
Although I feel like judging a music game on its soundtrack isn't unfair at all. Ultimately everyone's mileage will vary in terms of a soundtrack but you can't just not count it. Its integral to the experience. But hey, everyone's review philosophies will be different which is why I like reading other people's takes on games and why i'm here in the comments right now!
@Tobias95 @Barbiegurl777 I think its a dangerous slope if we start saying men/women shouldn't review certain games. If I proclaimed women shouldn't review Destiny because its a man's game (or something equally ridiculous) i'm pretty sure I would, deservedly, get a ton of backlash.
I certainly trust Mr. Meyer's assessment of the game. If other people can enjoy it more then great for them but lets not act like he shouldn't have reviewed the game. That seems asinine.
@BrianB I think most of the soundtrack aside from a few of the electronic tracks is pretty awful but like you said all the songs do play well. I was always having fun in the game even if I wouldn't listen to P.O.D. on my own time.
@rjejr Can't speak for NintendoLife staff but I liked Cubemen 2 a lot. Very strong multiplayer game although i'm not sure how active the online community is right now as I haven't played much since reviewing. Single player is fine but I got more enjoyment out of playing with others. It controls fine for the most part after you adjust to it, occasionally I would hit the wrong block but you can use the analog sticks to fine-tune the camera so its just a 1-2 second adjustment at worst.
@GreatPlayer took me probably 5-6 hours to beat it. That being said I got stuck on a few of the trickier puzzles and boss fights so if you're a more skillful player it can be done quicker. Also it depends on how much you want to explore, if you want to get all the scrolls it might take 8 hours-ish. Its completely worth buying though.

Shame that this didn't turn out well. Especially when Style Savvy, surprisingly, turned out to be a lot of fun.

Re: Review: Teslagrad (Wii U eShop)
@CanisWolfred its from an anime/manga/light novel series called Black Bullet. Its not great but I think the main villain (pictured) is pretty cool
