I just finished the game last night! Took 10 seconds under 20 hours lmao. A large majority of that time was me going all around the maps to ensure I covered every little square on the map so it was all filled in. It was a little amusing how I had almost all the super bombs before I got the power, just because of the exploring I was able to do.
I love how the game allows as much exploration as you want, as long as you are able to get somewhere you want to be. It guides you to where you should go to continue the game plot very well, and doesn't punish you or anything for going on divergent paths and messing around and exploring.
Big plus is just learning how they've kept the speedrunning community in mind. I don't speedrun myself, but I really appreciate their efforts for giving so much flexibility in what you can do throughout the game. I might be a little interested into seeing how the speedrun might be for this game.
It is rare for me to be so invested into a game that I look forward to continuing the game each day. I swore to myself to also not look at anything related to the game online - guides, spoilers, images, and even just knowing review scores. This game made me want to just experience it in it's full glory without any previous knowledge or opinions made, until only after I completed the game. One of the few games that also has felt pretty rewarding getting that 100% mark on the profile!
Now that I completed it, I am more willing to learn how to obtain the last few images in the ending photos

@AmplifyMJ Good luck! I'm so glad the game lets you go back and explore anywhere you want, very easily.
