Re: SEGA Announces The Mega Drive 2, Boasting 50 Games

thisjustin2001

I already have my Genesis Mini modded with all of the cartridge games I want. However, I don't like using RetroArch on my Minis, so I have none of the CD games yet. Whether or not I pick this up depends on the CD lineup. Besides Sonic CD, I've never played a Sega CD game before, so this device could be a treasure trove for me!

I really hope the hypothetical US version includes Popful Mail, Lunar Silver Star and Lunar 2 Eternal Blue especially because I know several of the VAs for those games, so it'd be a neat experience! Others I hope are added are Road Avenger, Ecco CD, Ecco TToT CD, Earthworm Jim Special Edition, Shining Force CD, Sonic CD, Keio Flying Squadron, Dragon's Lair, Robo Aleste, Lords of Thunder, Monkey Island and Heart of the Alien!

I feel like I'm one of the only people who is really excited for this thing, but man, I cannot wait to see how the lineup shakes out!

Re: Review: Snow Bros. Nick & Tom Special - A Tired Bubble Bobble-Alike That's Finally Affordable

Huh. I just finished this game with my sister for the first time yesterday and it was a blast! I like this game even more than Bubble Bobble personally. This review bashed Snow Bros. and put Bubble Bobble on a pedestal, yet almost all criticisms for Snow Bros. would also apply to Bubble Bobble too.

I do agree that the asking price for the game is too high, and the DLC should be included with the base game, but this review was a bit too harsh and way too snarky for my taste. On a side note, either Snow Bros. or Nightmare in the Dark is my new favorite game of this sort now! I do recommend this game, but only for a sale price. $20 for such a small game is pretty steep, in my opinion.
