@Tsurii897 They're not restricting you in any way when you use your console? What?
If I didn't want to accept the EULA I'd be SOL, since until I agree to it my system might as well be a brick. Even if I didn't do anything besides decide I didn't like the changes to the EULA, apparently that is grounds to terminate any games I had purchased.prior.
@Azooooz I'd like to mention that piracy and homebrew are two separate issues entirely... and even so, that argument is a bit falacious. Are you saying that you have to want to hack your Wii U to disagree with this new EULA?
This is worrisome, at the very least... simply because if this one update was only for a change to the EULA, what will happen if the system automatically updates with another new EULA in the future, that you will have no chance in disagreeing to?
I think the previous comments don't quite understand that... if the EULA is relatively harmless now (for me, it isn't harmless) then what about EULA's in the future that you won't have a chance to disagree about?

Let me put it this way; I have been waiting the last year and a half for a western release of Monster Hunter Tri G. After almost nine months with no news, I was just about ready to import a Japanese 3DS for just that one game. I would have ended up buying multiple Japan-only 3DS exclusives as well, but I decided to wait and see.
When Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate was not only announced for the west, but as an HD Wii U release to boot - I was sold. I didn't care I was buying a $350+tax system primarily for one game, because I knew I would get atleast 500 hours from the game, and potentially many more then that.
I have put 20+ hours combined between both the 3DS and Wii U demo. I have been counting off the days for months. I've been playing Monster Hunter Tri, Freedom Unite, and Portable 3rd almost non-stop in anticipation. 5 days. Just. 5. More. Days.
So, yes. I will be downloading something this week; Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate for Wii U and 3DS.
yah, when will someone man up and try this thing out? if ik have to i can review it, seems like worth it for 5 bucks... and is that a triple battle? if anything, i will get this to get used to triple battles a bit till BW hit the stores

Re: Wii U Owner Proves That Rejecting The End-User License Agreement Locks The System
@Grumblevolcano A hacker or a homebrew user? I've never done anything like that, and I've had EULAs pop up after updates since launch.
Why is everyone assuming he's a pirate? Literally what makes anyone think that; are people not allowed to criticize Nintendo?
I love their system, and I love their games - but this situation is still messed up.

Re: New Super Mario Bros. 2 Will Cost £39.99 to Download
@BJQ1972
The difference is, that the PS Store actually has lower prices on release.
(Which is part of the reason I go Download-only for new games, that I might want to play for a long time!)
Re: Monster Hunter 4 Director Says It's All About 'Adventure'
I gave up after Portable 3rd.
I still want to play Tri G, and this too... but i've given up on Capcom. I can't even import without buying a second 3DS!

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Makes Bold Move with the 3DS
I'm still not swayed for the 3DS, and until it gets a good variety of games... I'm keeping away. Right now I'm MUCH more excited for the Vita.
Re: New 3DS System Update Warns You About Piracy
I have been told not to really talk about stuff like this on Vitagamr, butr since this is what its about...
Honestly, I don't think this is how to handle it. Didn't they already learn their lessons with the Wii?
