Re: Poll: What Do You Think of My Nintendo and Miitomo?

theepictorkoal

For some reason the face to face friend feature doesn't work for my friends or myself when I try to add them. We all have location settings on and working and we select the same shapes, but the feature still does not work. Does anybody know a way to solve this issue, or do I have to wait for an update to fix this?

Re: Reminder: US Pokémon Fans Can Still Pre-Order the New Nintendo 3DS Gen 1 Bundle

I hope that NA will still release more of the regular sized New 3DS bundles this year, or even make the regular sized ones go on sale as a standalone as the 3DS systems continue to age over time. Obviously the cover plates are the main appeal to me for this model. The regular sized model would be a side handheld while my New 3DS XL is my main one (because of my eyes). It's a shame that there are so many cover plates that appeal to me and I can't put them all on at once.

Re: New Exploit Makes The 3DS Region Free Without The Need For A Flashcard Or Game Cart

Has anyone tried playing Digimon World ReDigitize Decode on a US or EU 3DS system to see if it worked properly on either of those systems? If it worked on either of those units, then was there was English text available once the game started up? Since apparently some games had English text programmed even though the games are region locked, most likely for development time. I know that Decode wasn't planned for an English release, but you never know.

Re: New Nintendo 3DS LL Outsells Standard Model By Almost Three To One In Japan

I'm just going to get the XL when a limited edition model that appeals to me is released or if an appealing bundle gets released. Don't really care about the faceplate as much since it would be covered by a case to protect the system from scratches and other potential forces of damage. I feel kind of let down that my current XL actually has better sound than my launch day 3DS since for some reason the left speaker doesn't work properly and a surround type of sound is made. At least screen brightness is still slightly better on the 3DS than the XL. Probably gonna keep my old systems though; I have too many to give up just like that.

Re: Details on New Mega Evolutions and Soar Ability Revealed for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

theepictorkoal

@ikki5 If I recall correctly, someone who was looking through the coding of X and Y discovered Mega Latios and Mega Latias along with Diancie, Volcanion, and Hoopa. He then posted pictures about his discoveries which made people aware of those unreleased Pokemon at the time. At first people thought they were all fake but began to believe after Diancie was officially announced. The Megas were harder to validate because in the original photo both Pokemon's battle bars were missing the Mega evolution symbol seen after a Pokemon Mega evolves. However since those Pokemon were forced into appearing in the game using external software most likely the user just made them appear in their Mega forms by default. Additional videos of other people using third party software from Japan to generate Pokemon directly in X and Y confirm that this is most likely the case. Why their coding is in X and Y is still a mystery though since apparently Nintendo is not planning on releasing any patch to make ORAS Megas and other new forms usable when connecting with X and Y.

Re: Talking Point: It's Not Too Late for Nintendo to Join the Minecraft Party

Wouldn't be surprised if it gets ported eventually, but tbh I actually lost interest in Minecraft once they had the adventure update. The mechanics prior were fine by me. Don't get me wrong the current mechanics are fine in their own way but I felt at that point that Minecraft had started on becoming more constricted in RPG like elements and that really bummed me out as I enjoyed playing a game that was free from those kind of elements. As Minecraft continued to update and add new content I played less because I felt that there was too many additions and new mechanics to learn. New mobs and items (not just reskins) were fine, but by this point Minecraft had just become too overloaded with activities for me to enjoy the same level of fun that I had back before the adventure update. I still play the currently version of Minecraft, but very fairly. More often I play the older versions that I still have. I hope that someday there would be an option to return to those original control mechanics while still being able to experience the current features. Maybe then I will return to the Minecraft realm.
