Just purchased the SNES controller for the Switch. Free shipping is a big improvement over the crazy amount I had to pay when I ordered the NES controllers from the previous buggy My Nintendo Store that was separate from the Official UK Store (it appeared to be based in Germany and shipped from Germany, so maybe rewards stock is now warehoused in the UK).
And only recently I got my partner an Animal Crossing bag with platinum points and had to pay over £6 shipping--now it appears you can get free shipping if you combine it with other products of a monetary value, or you can pay the standard £1.99 shipping. It makes Nintendo Rewards a lot more attractive now.
Preorders live but still no news on the "beta" GBA emulation. The fact that it's still a beta feature suggests compatibility may be patchy. Does not support flashcards? Does that mean the console's firmware has a database of cartridge/ROM IDs? Definitely advise anyone without $75 to gamble to await reviews.
I'm really enjoying spending time after work relaxing with Rune Factory 4. And when she's in the mood to play, my partner and I are slowly working our way through Secret of Mana.
I'm near the endpoint of both FF7 Remake and Hollow Knight but I've lost interest in 7 (despite my love of the original), and HK feels like a boss rush near end game (and I'm struggling a bit).
@Benji80 I wonder if you will also get the double gold points too! I ask because I got some extra gold points when preordering Link's Awakening despite using a NSO game voucher to purchase... I'm thinking you would. I've been tempted by DQ for a while and I've got one voucher left.
I can't have been the only one watching hoping the Amiibo function would be superficial and of little consequence to the core game? I honestly wish they'd just kill Amiibo... It's basically physical DLC, and a bit of a waste of plastic. (Unpopular opinion.)
I hope the lag that was introduced with the multiplayer update is fixed. It was supposed to be sorted in the last patch, but my farm is so laggy. Everywhere else is fine, but harvesting is so tedious and frustrating because of the slowdown... To single digit frames sometimes. I haven't touched SV since the last patch because of this. I don't even have a big farm (first year) so I was dreading what the slowdown would be like as I progressed.

I really love this game, too.
