@DanteSolablood Agreed that third parties did not byte on the cartridge, but the technology was good. it has the fastest loading times and games took a beating unlike disks. Nintendo's market has always been towards younger children. Cartridges just seems better for that market.
its amazing, back in the n64 days companies spoke down on Nintendo for going with cartridge instead of disc. Nintendo knew even back then that this was going to be the future media. They banked on it years ago, and they are banking on it again. Back then it was more expensive to make cartridges than cds, but now it the opposite.
I have to agree with you. Remember, the advantage of using cartridge over disc is that some of the games data that gets loaded is loaded in the cartridge it self allowing other data to load unto system ram.

To be honest, i love my 3ds because of the 3d. it would had been great to add 3d to the switch. it works so good on the 3ds.
