@HeadPirate @HeadPirate Get off your high horse. People don't need to read every comment to be allowed to do so. And saying being requested versus mandated isn't "remotely close to the truth" isn't remotely accurate. It's a classic example of using semantics to undermine. What's worse is that you go on about they requested it, but the article didn't even really bring that up. So my point is still the same. I think you just have a high opinion of yourself and want to come across super smart by putting others down.
This "illegal" emulator is actually illegal. The cryptographic keys such as the Wii Master Key is the equivalent providing the BIOS already in the download. It's not illegal to provide emulators, but it is illegal to provide certain things like BIOS and ROMS. Dolphin royally screwed up, pure stupidity to put that in there.
As nice as it is to see Shulk getting some love, I hope Namco Bandai and Monolith Soft's previous Xenosaga trilogy isn't out of the question. As cool as Shulk is, I believe KOS-MOS and Ziggy would be much cooler fighters.
In fact, modding has brought her and many other characters into the last game. One of the more popular mods has her as clone of Zero Suit Samus, If I am not mistaken. But think if she were her own build and character, how awesome that would be. The same goes for Ziggy too.
With Nintendo owning Monolith Software, and the game being developed by Namco Bandai, I think it would be foolish to pass this chance up. It would be a good way to get more people excited for Xeno-related games, thus Nintendo could make more Xenoblade sales.
Too me it looks like the polar opposite of Midna's true form. If Midna is from the Twilight Realm, the woman standing by Link looks to be of Light. Since the Master Sword is definitely a type of holy sword, probably imbued with Light, it could be reasonable for its physical manifestation to look like that.
I wonder, presuming she is the Master Sword, if it will play like Twilight Princess, where you have two forms to choose from. I'd personally like to see it played out where Link can use the Master Sword or choose for it manifest itself into a humanoid presence, where you could play both at the same time like in the latest Prince of Persia game, opening up new gameplay mechanics for combat, puzzles, and reaching new areas.
It's going to be like Super Mario World meets Galaxy. Fils-Aime has stated that the original Galaxy was more for the newcomers, while the next installment will be more challenging, more for the hardcore players who want more challenge. And Yoshi is one of those reasons it will be a little bit more challenging, and its definitely been too long since we got to team up with Yoshi.
Can't believe nobody mentioned the Arcade versions of the Ninja Gaiden games. I saw my two brothers play it on Ninja Gaiden Black for the Xbox. And if I remember right, the levels and gameplay are very different from the console versions.
Here's info on another Hudson game and its a bombshell. IGN just revealed at the Wii site that a new Military Madness game is coming out on Wiiware this summer. Here's a quote, "The new version of Military Madness will feature all new 3D graphics, new units, online co-op and versus multiplayer, amongst other additions. Military Madness has been rated T for Teen by the ESRB. "
MethodOne, how rare is it? That would probably be the reason it hasn't been released. For example, Sin and Punishment was no-brainer release seeing how many people imported the game, and games like Bomberman 94 and Twinbee aren't risky sells.
I'm glad we get to see more import games, but I'm honestly don't like Bomberman that much. Twinbee looks like it could be pretty cool, I'll wait and read a few reviews before I decide anything. I agree with some of you that I'd rather see Super Punch-Out but with the Wii version of Punch-Out coming soon it definitely won't be long until we see it released as a virtual console game. They'll do the same thing they did when Metroid Prime 3 came out.
I wonder what other imported games we might see. Anybody have some favorites?
Popyman, even though I'm glad you'll get the game, I disagree with you that its a clone of LocoRoco. If if you had to tilt the world to the left and right to the move ball, then it would be.
In fact, Night Game is a spiritual successor to a freeware game called Within a Deep Forest created by a developer known as Nifflas. In it, you play as some type of creature that is a blue ball, like in Night. And again you use physics to bounce and control his height. Download the game to get a feeling of how it should play.
My favorite game of the developer is Knytt Stories, which is basically a hybrid of Mario and Metroid (Mario's platforming with Metroid's formula of exploration and learning new abilities). Knytt Stories is a sequel to Knytt, which was pretty much the same except Stories is a compilation of different levels with a Level Editor. That would also make a great addition to WiiWare, where you could make and share your own levels and every once in a while buy downloadable level packs, as well as new graphics, sound and music to use in the editor.

Should point out in the article these raises were mandated by the government.

Sean, what you score this game when compared to the arcade version.

That would be sweet.

Hudson is releasing a WiiWare sequel to Military Madness this summer, which I wrote about in the forums. They are making me happy.
