IMHO the most memorable Zelda moment of all time is SPOILER ALERT when you get the Master Sword in Wind Waker and the flow of time in Hirule is restored. Magical moment! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFHEQL2Xlkg
@BXXL Speak for yourself. I have over 50 games for my GameCube and most of them are at least excellent. The Wii, on the other hand, is a disappointment to me.
Since I already have Castlevania III and Super Castlevania IV for VC, and SoTN for Xbox Live Arcade, I would only buy the collection if the price was really good. With Bloodlines and Chronicles inside, that would be another story...
This deserves at least an 8 out of 10 IMO. It's one of the best beat'm ups of the 16 bit generation. I used to beat it in the hardest dificulty setting...
You guys complaining about the lack of d-pad support should give the analog a chance. I'm playing with the nunchuk configuration and it's working perfectly.
There is the Mega Drive version of Super SF II, wich is still unreleased. Since some games are present for more than one platform (like R-Type for SMS and TG16), I think we may get it eventually.
@Good: This is not simply an outdated game. It's a bad game! I have painful memories of Fighting Street, when I tried it by the early 90s. Never played the original arcade version though.
I still have the original NES cart here! But I really do think the remakes are much better, even with their easy difficulty setting. (I also have the PSX and PSP remakes.)
Yes, there is a PS2 version. It'scalled Rayman 2: Revolution (Rayman Revolution in UK). Just remember the current PS3 model does not have PS2 compatibility.
The PS1 version has downsized graphics and levels but, on the other hand, has real voice acting. It's not a bad game, but the other versions are much better. Excluding the DS version, of course...
Rayman 2 on N64/PC/DC/PS2 is one of the best platformers of all time (the PS1 version is downsized). This DS version does not keep up with the original. It's a disaster, really. The score is perfect for it.
There is one thing that needs to be said, though. That crappy virtual stick was designed to support the "thumb strap" of the first Nintendo DS. Nintendo screw Ubisoft when the accessory was discontinued.

Re: Review: Rayman DS (DS)
@Mr-X9000 Graphically, it is. It uses half the resolution of the N64 version, has slowdowns and so on. But the audio is better.
Re: Review: Wonder Boy in Monster Land (Wii Virtual Console / Virtual Console Arcade)
Is this better than the Master System version?
Re: Review: The King of Fighters '97 (Wii Virtual Console / Neo Geo)
I have it, Saturn version. Good addition to VC anyway.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES Pulled from Virtual Console
The game is terrible, but I have the NES cart here, since I'm a great TMNT fan. Sad news, indeed.

Re: Feature: Remembering the GameCube
The BEST console I've ever had! Period.
Re: Feature: The Best Games on GameCube and Wii
Although I do not agree with the GCN list, the fact is I have all games listed on it. I am happy, I know it...

Re: Feature: The Best Games on GameCube and Wii
No Skies of Arcadia Legends or Eternal Darkness love?
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th October 2010 (Europe)
I love the Rushing Beat trilogy! Hopefully the north american release will come next.
Re: Buy Ufouria If You Want More Quirky Virtual Console Titles
What translation is this guy talking about? Uforia was released originally in Europe and Australia, so the translation was already done!
Re: Review: Hoopworld (WiiWare)
I wish I could try it.
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th June 2010 (North America)
Awesome VC offering! Now bring us Shatterhand!
Re: Final Fantasy V and VI Technical Problems Prevent DS Conversions
@Wolfcoyote: FF V was released to GBA as well.
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th April 2010 (North America)
Good to see another Mega Man on VC. But not for me, since I already have the compilation.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - April 2010
Fatal Fury 3 on USA VC next week, please!
Re: Nintendo Download: 15th March 2010 (North America)
Rondo!
Re: Nintendo Download 1st March 2010 (North America)
Excellent update!
Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd & 24th February 2010 (Japan)
Not exactly impressive...
Re: BBC Interested In Games Again
Top Gear is awesome! I used to watch it every night with my friends when I was living in Canada. Great memories!
Re: Review: Dark Void Zero (DSiWare)
Funny thing is that this tie-in is actually better than the "true" Dark Void on other consoles.
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th January 2010 (North America)
Shadow Dancer all the way!
Re: Nintendo Download: 11 January 2010 (North America)
C'mon... I was expecting Shadow Dancer this week...
Re: Review: Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
@Dazza: Like I said, I just heard. Really don't know if this was the reason or not.
But I did some google research and found a techno band called "Shadow Dancer". Maybe (just maybe) that was the issue.
Re: Review: Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
@StarBoy91 (comment 22): I heard there were some licensing issues in Germany.
Re: Review: Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
I remember old brazilian magazines praising Shadow Dancer at the time. I've only played the Master System port tough.
Re: Review: Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams (Game Boy Color)
Great review!
The GBC port of SFA was pretty impressive at the time. Considering the hardware limitations, I would give it a higher score.

Re: Review: Final Fight 3 (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)
No Cody in this one.
Re: Review: Final Fight 3 (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)
I still have the cart here. Great game!

Re: Celebrate The Holidays With Cheaper Sega Virtual Console Titles
I grabbed Gunstar Heroes, Puyo Puyo 2 and Toe Jam & Earl. Maybe I'll get something more 'til next week.

By the way, the game is awesome!
Re: Review: Street Fighter Alpha 2 (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)
@LEGEND MARIOID: The GBC received the first Alpha.
Re: Review: The Combatribes (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)
They should give us Super Double Dragon. That is a great game!
Re: Review: Super Mario Kart (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)
I'm not buying this! But only because I already have the cart...
Re: Nintendo Download: Karts, Blobs, Bits, Shops, Tournaments, PooYoos, Castles, Notebooks and More Plankton (US)
SMK and A Boy and His Blob! Great update!

Re: Review: Street Fighter II': Champion Edition (Virtual Console / TurboGrafx-16)
One thing worth noting is that this port was the biggest PC-Engine hucard game at its launch. Don't know if another game surpassed it later though.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10-11 November 2009 (Japan)
I played one of these illegal NES ports of SF2 at the time. It was surprisingly good!

Re: Nintendo Download: Shinobi, Brain Training, Combat of Giants, Protöthea and PictureBook Games (EU)
I have a lot of good memories of SMS Shinobi. I would like to see it on VC too, for nostalgic reasons.
Re: Nintendo Download: Shinobi, Brain Training, Combat of Giants, Protöthea and PictureBook Games (EU)
Like Golden Axe arcade before it, Shinobi will cost twice more on VC than its XBLA counterpart. Sad...
Re: Free NES Game Offer Now Available!
I can't decide what to get... Maybe River City Ransom.
Re: Review: Final Fight 2 (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)
I love Final Fight 2! It brings me so many good memories...

Re: Rare: Fate Was Against Us With Goldeneye
Good thing I still have the cart.
Re: Nintendo Download: Super Star Wars, Golden Axe, Magnetis, PooYoos and MySims Camera (EU)
I just bought the XBLA version. It's almost half the price of VCA version. The Nintendo pricing for VC games needs some adjustments...
