Thanks for the coverage! I preordered so I'm already sold, but I'm still super curious.
Can you comment on something nitty-gritty? From watching coverage of the game it looks like some control inputs from Odyssey have been back-ported to 3D World, such as diving in mid-air, continuous rolling, and a super-jump following a ground-pound. Am I crazy? Does it feel like Odyssey? Are these things exclusive to Bowser's Fury?
I've been glued to this game since i got it last week. A few extra notes:
the game is on PC and mobile (android and iphone) AND has cross-save for the campaign and level editor. i like poking at a level on my phone then finishing it on switch.
the exposure system works REALLY well. Its satisfying to see your levels actually get played! I have hundreds of plays on 2 of mine that i have "pushed" into the market.
There is a "Daily Run" a la many roguelikes with 5 curated levels and leaderboards for the time to complete all of them. You get a medal for meeting a "par" time as well. This alone is plenty to do, and you can go back and play daily runs you missed.
