I’m pretty excited… even though I already have a VB and several of the games. Red Viper is pretty great and super convenient, but the 3DS glasses-free 3D doesn’t match the sharpness and the blacking out of your surrounds that the original hardware had.
I hope some people try it and discover a game they enjoy that they wouldn’t have otherwise.
This will probably be a case where the OLED Switch is significantly better than the Switch 2. I’m the original Virtual Boy hardware there are mirrors- not a screen- and the black of the background is very black. The OLED will do a good job of replicating this. The original Switch and Switch 2 may not get such a good effect…. We’ll soon find out, I guess.
Nintendo is finally re-releasing the Virtual Boy library and letting new generations experience it for themselves, instead relying of relying on 3rd party exaggeration about the console experience (seriously, if you had it adjusted properly you shouldn’t get eye strain, but anyway….).
Between this and the VB merch at the Nintendo Museum, it seems that Nintendo are willing to include this in their history now.
The fact that “ANTANK” and “SIWIQU” and other brand names in combinations of meaningless capital letters strongly suggest that they are just reselling the same cheap junk.
A portable, quality travel adapter would be very welcome. But this ewaste: No thanks
Are any of these legit companies? All of these products seem to be sold by lots of different brands with random names. I could be wrong, but they mostly seem like cheap drop-shipped products that I wouldn’t trust with my console

I guess they couldn’t get the rights to Space Squash? That was a good one

Woohoo! Best news of the Direct.

Re: Pilotwings SNES, N64 And 3DS Albums Soar Onto 'Nintendo Music' In New Update
What a coincidence! I was just looking for the Pilotwings Resort soundtrack last night. Such chill background music
