I also did the same thing for my NES. All my friends had them. After months of asking I thought I was going to get one. Then I opened all my gifts and it wasn’t there. I was obviously showing my disappointment to my parents. My Dad told me to run upstairs and grab his slippers. When I got up to their room, I noticed their small tv on. OMG they got me the NES Mario and Duck Hunt Combo with the Zapper! One of my best memories from my childhood. Make that memory for your kid. It’ll be a Christmas he’ll never forget.
