Our games mostly come from Japan, so this means nothing. The only interesting games that the West provides for me would be an Indie game from time to time and hopefully a few Western RPGs... even tough they are best played on PC.
The only thing I am a bit saddened by is the amount of smartphone and browser games that are being developed. There are substantial games on smartphones, but I cannot believe that all of these developers are aiming for quality, probably less than one percent that will actually try to make a real quality game.
There are so many great games on the GBA and most of them can be hard to find, or are immensely expensive nowadays. Releasing them on the VC would definitely make the 3DS more popular.
I only cared for Medabots AX, but since multiplayer is unlikely I don't think I will get it again. Maybe I would go for the best harvest moon game they have for the GBA, but even then, I am not truly interested in that series.
I find games from other companies much more interesting, like the three castlevania games, the golden sun titles (which to me are still among the greatest RPG's ever made), sonic battle, advance wars, tactics ogre, the mega man battle network series and final fantasy tactics are titles which I would love the see on the 3DS VC.
That is so amazing, events like this should be done more often. If something like this ever comes to Europe, which is extremely unlikely, I would definitely go.
Ugh and another game just vanished right before our eyes. Why does this always happen to Europe, soon we might even get a message Shin Megami Tensei IV is not going to be released here.
I remember people defending it a long time ago, but as of now I am completely oblivious to whatever advantages region lock has.
Such a shame, but surely they realize that actions like these hurt Nintendo much more than fanservices like this, right? I wonder how much of a heart attack Nintendo gets each time they look at the amount of fanmade Pokemon and Mario stuff and the money involved with that.
The series is still a niche, but the fanbase is growing. It would be a dumb move on Capcoms part not to release the game in the west. I know they are greedy barstewards, but keeping western fans from mayor installments would make sure it never gets big here.
I'm hyped for mh4, but I still have enough to do in mh3u, so I can still wait .
The N64 still is an amazing console, especially if you have friends.
Even tough I never had a conversation about N64 vs. XboxOne, I had about other consoles and those "well this console has this game' arguments came out of my mouth a bit too often.
I don't agree with lesser 'mons, but if they decide to introduce lesser 'mons each gen I won't die or anything.
I just really hope they don't 'simplify' the battling. Are they crazy, like has been said before, pokemon is already simple! They can return RBY battle mechanics, but many people will quit the series if they do that. Those mechanics are horrible compared to newer games. Also things like abilities and deeper complex movesets also allow for deeper and more strategic ways, also giving otherwise terrible pokemon chances to shine!
I do agree with simpler elegant designs, but if simpler means gen 1 'mon like tangela, grimmer, muk, volorb, electrode, etc. (there are many more), than it definitely is a no-no.
