Re: Pikmin 3 Makes UK Chart Debut in Second Place

@Judgedean Apparently it's only the people who used the download code before the official date (26th July) who don't get the premium point and won't be able to get the 30% discount on wonderful 101. (I got the premium point from my pikmin bought via the game.co.uk download code)

Re: Pikmin 3 Makes UK Chart Debut in Second Place

I confirm it's a true WiiU gem!
But I wonder how much of this 2nd position is linked to the fact that all over Europe people chose to buy the digital version of the game at game.co.uk which was 10 euros cheaper that the official eshop version and still allows you claim premium points and to buy wonderful 101 30% cheaper..

Re: Your View: Predicting "Brand-New Types of Games" for Wii U is Rather Tricky

maneauleau

maybe:

  • something involving 2 gamepads?
  • or an okami/scribblenaut type of game but à la nintendo.
  • or a special strap for the gamepad so that he can be used as a shield while the wiimote will be used as the sword.
  • or a special strap for the gamepad so that he can be used as a powerglove while the wiimote can be used for something else.
Ignore all of the above, but one has to wonder though, If it's something really new, what can be done on the WiiU that can't be done on the 3DS apart from obvious such as HD graphics and NFC capabilities. If we can answer this question I think we can get close to the solution.

Re: Japanese Wii U eShop Promotion Undercuts Retail Prices

maneauleau

Do we know if their japanese premium offer also adds up to this?
But when I see the prices of WiiU physical games in amazon.uk and shopto (32 to 35 pounds, 38 to 42 euros) I still feel like going digital is not viable yet. I only like digital version for games where short gaming session are more likely to happen nintendo land , wario etc...
