@LordGeovanni The game is still primarily random encounters. There is only ONE Wild Area where Pokemon actually show up in the overworld, so you get to keep your precious random encounters. But also you're the kind person that is the exact reason why Pokemon refuses to actually evolve it's franchise in an effective and meaningful way, why they "gradually" implement new ideas.
