While I admittedly have never played Odyssey myself, watching countless playthroughs I felt this game lacked the compelling mystery that was present in SMS or SM64 for example. Having a smaller number of moons/stars really makes them seem more special. I also am just not into boss fights, so I really would prefer a game with a limited number of objectives, that way each one can be more fleshed out and special (quality over quantity?). I also just love having the sort of main world from which you can jump into different paintings to access other worlds. I think that kind of thing could be really cool, I want Super Mario 64 2
