Ok, ok. I'll leave you guys to drool over this tablet in peace. But when the truth is finally revealed you'll all see that I was right as I have the power of Google search at my command. I'll be waiting for your collective groans of disappointment with baited breath. Goodbye, friends.
@BlatantlyHeroic Oh come on, really! Opinions are welcome here as long as we all love Nintendo. That about sums it up I think. Oh, and it's been confirmed that Skyrim isn't coming to the Switch. It was just Nintendo trolling you all.
In all seriousness I am a Nintendo fan who bought the Wii U. That was a failure and so will this be. This is nothing but a glorified tablet. As a Nintendo fan I'm allowed to rant a little at this monstrosity aren't I?
@NewAdvent I'm sorry to burst your bubble but Bethesda haven't been working on the Switch. It was for illustration purposes only. I think Nintendo were a little cheeky to put that in tbh when the game won't be on the tablet. Yeah, I said tablet because that's what this is so no it won't be as powerful as the Xbone. Sorry.
@JLPick Come on, they stepped out of the console war years ago when they produced the Wii. And they are concentrating on mobile gaming with this. It's a tablet. Nothing more.
@Bunkerneath Right on, brother!! At last, someone who realises what this thing is. Too many people are looking at it through Nintendo goggles or something. The Wii U was better than this!
I can understand the bias here; it's a Nintendo site after all, but c'mon people, where exactly does this 'console' fit in to the already saturated market space? Want mobile gaming? There are mobiles for that. What a home console? There are consoles for that. Where is this thing going to sit? I know people have been excited seeing Skyrim but do a little research and you'll discover that Bethesda aren't working on the Switch. It was for illustration only. And Nintendo keeping very quiet is a little puzzling. Are they hoping for pre-orders to start to come in before they confirm what everyone is already saying: that it's too under-powered to run current games from most developers, the dock is just that - it transfers the picture from the small screen to the big screen but offers no extra processing power at all. So basically that little tablet thing is where all the power is. This is a bad misstep by Nintendo again. I wonder how many more they can survive before they fail to get up. What they should have done is produce a console that takes the fight straight to Sony and MS. There's a gap in the market at the moment as people look towards 4K. Sony have messed that up leaving the door wide open for Nintendo to step inside. I know people like their 1st party games but the Wii U proved that those games (when they do finally arrive) aren't enough to save the hardware. I'm with the investors on this one. I'm disappointed.
@DonSerrot It's been widely reported by both Nintendo and Bethesda that Skyrim's inclusion in that video was for illustration purposes only (as was NBA2K) and that Bethesda (and Activision) hasn't been working on a Switch version. The obvious reason being that the Switch is another under-powered gimmick doomed to failure just like the Wii U and couldn't run the new revamp version coming out this month. Nintendo have learned nothing except how to repeatedly drop the ball.

Re: Nintendo Share Value Drops 6.5% Following Switch Reveal
@Faruko No, my bad. I can admit it when I'm wrong. It was the other guy.
Re: Nintendo Share Value Drops 6.5% Following Switch Reveal
@Faruko And you have proven that you are NOT a lawyer. But nicely played.

@Faruko What? Was that even English? I don't know what you're trying to say. Speak slower.

@Rensch Do a little research regarding Skyrim for Switch before you put down any money on a pre-order.

@JFERNANDEZ1984SP Haha! Ok you win post of the day for sure!
Re: Nintendo Share Value Drops 6.5% Following Switch Reveal
@Faruko I still own a Wii U and it is better than this. I also own an iPad and that is at least equal to this.

Re: Nintendo Share Value Drops 6.5% Following Switch Reveal
@JFERNANDEZ1984SP Yeah if your parents front the cash. You're obviously a child without any clue of what this thing is.
Re: Nintendo Share Value Drops 6.5% Following Switch Reveal
@Tsurii Yeah another gimmick that offers nothing that doesn't already exist. A waste of time.
