Also to those saying it's a collision detection bug, the bit flip in m64 has been tested and perfectly reproduced. By manually flipping the same bit at the same time in the run, mario again warps to the exact same position as seen in the run!
@Dingelhopper probably not, an SEU only effects a single bit in the code and unless it accidentally triggered some developer mode or something it probably wasn't that!
I don't really have a problem with copying other games or using them for inspiration and all that but wow this feels like it's trying far too hard to be Persona
