@AtlanteanMan Please with the fruit. Thats what traveling to other persons islands is all about. Friends. I got all fruit out there in 24 hours. U need to travel to other islands.

Re the one island thing, here we go again. If multiple islands were on one system, one player can create 8 accounts and horde tons of bells, free items, etc, them dump this to the original player. Thats the MAIN reason. The business reason is CHA-CHING: over 30% people with families are buying a seconds switch and second game. Honestly, one switch with two islands or more (sharing) SUCKS. In that this game was made for one player on one system. The hell with that crap of giving up my switch for my kid to play. He has his own Lite. His own AC. And he and papa play together in the same house on our own system, the true way the game to be played, FULL SCREEN for both of us. You know, just like the 3DS.

Now stop with the silly multiple island argument. It makes NO SENSE. (unless you want to horde resources!)

Re: Poll: Has Your Family Bought A Second Switch To Play Animal Crossing: New Horizons 'Properly'?

30% says yes. Thats crazy high and one of the reasons why Nintendo allows only one island. They know families buy 2 switches and 2 games just for this game. It's been happened since Wild World.

(also, allowing more than one island per system will allow one player to horde tons of goods on 8 files, drop off at friend, then back and forth, repeat. Am I the only one who knows this is the MAIN reason why there is only one island per system? Come on people, THINK!)

People: The reason why Nintendo does not allow multiple islands on one console is because people will create an over abundance of resources and give to one player.

So, if you open up 8 account on one system, you can hordes bells, sell off free Nintendo Switch Items for 17K bells, have 8 islands of trees with a constant flow of 10K bell tree, etc etc. Then these resources can all be sent to one island and a single person can propser.

I very much get it and it's the right move, Nintendo (add to this, sharing an Switch with someone creating multiple islands sucks. Better that family stays and plays together vs splitting up solo island playtime. AND, Nintendo sells more switches and games because many persons, like myself, actually buy a second console for family just to be able to play together at same time on separate islands. Smart business move!)

@jan3601 U miss the point. He claimed it's easy and by doing this, he was stating this just to make his topic more click-baity (hey all! Easy method to do this!) when in fact he did not show us the hours of failed attempts to do this. Nor is it really easy at all. Read dozens of comments on golden trout youtube videos and see many persons doing exactly what he did and not getting it. Also, you have no idea what the spawn rate is. Pure guess work (as always)

Re: Sony Intends To Remove More Nintendo Projects From The PS4 Game Dreams

I called this months ago. Mario is NINTENDO's COPYRIGHT/TRADEMARK. And please with the "fan made" stuff. Sony and Molecule are profiting off of persons posting "Playstation 2 quality" Mario crap on their servers. A direct violation of Trademark/Copyright. It's not even close and Sony's lawyers know it.

To those who bicker that Nintendo is a big bad meanie: let's say you create an amazing game called Mickey the Monkey. And it makes millions of dollars. Then someone takes the trademarked image and copy-written game play elements and posts on a server where two big companies are making money off of it (except you). You would have a tizzy and vehemently protect yours marks. And, btw, if you do not protect your marks, the longer the stolen marks are out there, the greater the chance your marks can get legally lost. So when you have a trademark, you must fight for it or maybe lose it.

And a side note on Dreams: I bought it. Played the (just ok, 70 min) single player campaign. Then spent over 10 hours playing one broken user creation (facilitated illegally by Sony and/or Media Molecule's servers) after another with graphics that are truly SUB Playstation 3. And as I played I said at least 25 times, "Trademark violation".

Also I was baffled this highly mediocre game was getting great reviews (thank you Gamestop for giving me $30 in trade 2nd week).
People, DREAMS is not that great. The idea is interesting, but, the interface to create these graphics/game play is weak. WEAKER than Molecules highly superior LITTLE BIG PLANET

Expect companies like Sega, EA, etc whose property is being stolen and put onto this crappy dream concept to be taken down. The fact that these trademarked images are on Sony's servers makes them a facilitator of this crime and you bet your ass Sony relented (and I am shocked they even allowed this dumb watered down game to even be allowed with no moderation).
