Re: And Yet It Moves Competition Winners

Got it this afternoon! Cool game but I had to decrease the sensitivity and invert the rotation for it to feel more natural to me. Even then there are times where I can feel a bit of motion sickness coming on, not that it's stopped me so far ; > Anyway, it's a very interesting and different game and I'm enjoying it. Thanks again! Cheers!

God I sure hope it's not Bieber! How about a game where we can throw bottles at him on stage instead? ; > In all seriousness, if they've got Chris Lloyd already then why not go the full 9 to please fans and get Michael J. Fox to voice Marty. I kinda think he owes it to the franchise for helping to make him so incredibly rich. Besides, this will only add to that. Anyway, I'd probably buy it, if the reviews are decent.

No Pitfall?! Yeah, I realize it was a 3rd party release but it's still one of the few worthy games on the 2600 next to space invaders, defender and river raid. Oh well, not like there aren't other ways to play those games. The included arcade games are still cool! I got a hankering for some Battlezone all of a sudden...I can almost feel my windshield cracking ; >

Re: Review: Pearl Harbor Trilogy - 1941: Red Sun Rising (WiiWare)

I've played through this game from both sides now and I've decided that I really don't know games at all ; > No, just kidding...but seriously folks, I think it rocks! However, I don't understand why a lot of people seem to find that it starts very difficult and is overall fairly difficult. I found it pretty fair, if anything a little easy really. Doesn't anyone know how to bugout?! Geesh!! Using the brakes while maneuvering is a big part of this game. Those addicted to acceleration will pay the price. I know this is a good game though because I was playing it with an actual pilot and was trying to grab the controller from him to demonstrate how to use the brakes but I couldn't brake the iron grip he had on the controller. Then he shot me one of those, "Get out of my face! I'm in the middle of a game!" looks. When a game makes people do that it's classic!
Overall, very satisfying shooting planes out of the sky; dropping bombs on things and going on torpedo runs. Good variety and also a good sense of history to the game too. It's presented fairly from both sides. I liked the tip of the hat to Japanese samurai culture. I'm looking forward to future episodes, though I'd like to see some increased difficulty and local and online multiplayer. Fun stuff though, I've really been enjoying it!

I'll ask here as well since people are enthusiastic about this game: How do you enter passwords in the VC version of this game? I started playing and it loads it where I left off and not at the title screen. How do I get back there (which is where I'm assuming I'd enter a password)?

Re: Nintendo Download 1st March 2010 (North America)

I do understand the draw of nostalgia but what I don't understand is why everyone is wetting their pants over games that look and feel like they were made 20 years ago. Mega Man is fun. I even downloaded 3 and play it sometimes. Hey, I can even understand the demand to update a classic; but do we really need 9 AND 10?! How about some new blood, Nintendo? You know, to go with your radical new console: the Wii. Remember, it has motion control?! Sigh...

Re: Hands On: Yobo FC-16 Go Portable SNES

Cool gadget, but why would anyone buy this when for $40-50 more you could buy a Dingoo that runs most ROMs from the beginning till the SNES era and beyond in some cases (GBA, etc.) and will plug into your TV as well. It also runs it's own form on LINUX, is an MP3 player and a digital audio recorder. I don't have one yet but have heard mostly good things. The LINUX adaptability of seems promising. Anyone have any experience with it?

Fun and challenging game. I'm still crashing and overheating a lot but having fun doing it. My one beef is with the motion control. I intuitively want to pull or tilt back on the remote to pop a wheelie but they have you tilt left to do this and tilt right to pitch forward. Still getting used to that. Perhaps I should give classic controls a try? Don't let this dissuade you though. It's basically fun and getting into an online race is quick and easy. I won't play it for hours at a stretch but it's good arcade fun in short spurts. Just don't overheat and sputter out. I hate when that happens ; >
