@N00BiSH Also, how could you say that this “didn’t add anything new to Mario’s World”? Buddy, this movie substantially expanded the world in a way that they couldn’t in a game. Does the game do inti detail about how the Toads or Kings live? And in the sequel, they will FURTHER expand the world. You are so incredibly wrong in this, that I dare you to admit you are off base.

@N00BiSH @RedfromKanto I’m sorry, but to cal this movie shallow or uninspired is SO insulting, I refuse to let you have the last word on it. Apologise now and show those people some respect by following them on social media. I really wish there was an “The Art of The Super Mario Bros Movie” book, just to further show you how wrong you are. They really do care, they made a great movie and it doesn’t have to be any more than what it is, an accessible movie about an accessible game series.

I seriously don’t understand it, how could a simple movie about Mario be so divisive among you guys who read Nintendo Life? Why are opinions so divided when it should have been clear that this movie was a labor of love from a team who absolutely loves the franchise and just wanted to entertain people? You guys who didn’t like the movie seriously don’t understand how much the people who made the first film possible are one amazingly talented team and made a movie that is exactly what we wanted after years of only having the 1993 film. You guys are acting like this film only meant to be watched by exclusively children and that adults shouldn’t watch it or enjoy it, BUT THAT’S WRONG! That’s a stigma that I absolutely hate, and we should all be able to appreciate movies like this.
