I know I’ll eventually pick up AoC down the line. I’m just wondering whether the previous version of HW is still worth picking up. (Context: I am a Zelda fan and did enjoy the DW games on PS2). It seems physical copies aren’t really available so I may have to consider digital if physical is just not feasible (but I shall still wait for a sale!).
Admittedly, my imagination is very poor. Besides fighting games and arcade classics, what would be great games to use with a joystick (and perhaps justify such a purchase)? I'm curious to hear what others think!
@ViewtifulJotun I brought it up earlier. Yes, the original was remade for the DS as Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. I played through it and enjoyed it as it was my first time playing a FE game.
Like others, I too am puzzled by the limited release schedule. However, the willingness for Nintendo to translate an older title and allow it to be released as a downloadable title shows a lot of potential! It could mean official translations for older titles (or "re"translations as Nintendo released the remake Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon on the DS). It could also mean an online eShop to download classic titles similar to the Wii U and 3DS eShop. (I don't mind the idea of accessible titles via NSO - I prefer downloading individual titles.)
For SF30, are folks jumping on it (or have bought it) or have any of you bought the physical format? I'm really going back & forth as I generally prefer physical (especially for large and/or 1st party or major titles) but I wonder if this more "retro" game would be better as a digital game. I appreciate people's input.
