Re: Strider

This is a really great conversion of the arcade game, & it brings back so much memories. I think that everyone should pick this up. You can also check out the arcade version of it on the Strider 1 bonus disc on PS. Don't bother going for the one on both Capcom Classics Collection Vol.2 on X-Box or PS2 or Capcom Classics Collection:Remixed on PSP, as that version of Strider is the later version, in which the music on Stages 3 & 5 play the EXACT same music from Stage 1, including when you're facing grandmaster. There were two different versions of Strider in the arcades (an earlier version, which was also used on the MegaDrive version & the PS version bonus disc), just to let you know.

Re: Samurai Shodown

This is a really good game, however, the sequel is even more better. I'm anxious for it to arrive it here in the states. I do have to say, though, if it's not uncensored, or if it doesn't at least have an option to turn on the red blood or have a code for that, then I'm not spending my points on it. Then I would have to wait for them to redeem themselves with the Samurai Spirits/Shodown Anthology that is coming out for both the Wii & PS2. This isn't the 90's anymore; it's 2007, going on 2008.

Re: Ghosts 'n Goblins

Ugh. This is a crappy version. It's much harder than the Arcade version, & it's too frustrating. The only good thing about it was the music. Ignore this & go for the Arcade version on Capcom Classics Collection, Vol. 1 for X-Box or PS2, or Capcom Classics Collection: Reloaded on PSP.

Re: Mega Man

To Brian: It may be a LONG while before we get any Mega Man X games (especially X3) on VC, as I believe that they'll start out with the regular series first.

Anyway, although this was the first game in the series, this wasn't a bad game at all. Only the difficulty & the lack of passwords kill it. But both Mega Man 2 & 3 are everyone's most favorite original MM games of all time, as of mine.

Re: Final Fight

You said it, Bass. Roxy & Poison were replaced by Billy & Sid (If I'm right), there's no co-op, one stage was missing (along with guy), & it was very censored. The arcade version is definitely better. You can find the arcade version of this on Capcom Classics Collection: Volume 1 on X-Box or PS2, or CCC: Remixed on PSP.

Re: Ghouls 'n Ghosts

Awesome! This is a really good arcade conversion of this, unlike Ghosts 'N Goblins for the NES was. Definitely download this when it's out. In the meantime, if you're interested, you could check out the arcade version of this on Capcom Classics Collection: Volume 1 on X-Box or PS2 (or CCC: Reloaded on PSP).

Re: Streets of Rage 2

This game should have been in Sega Genesis Collection for PS2 & PSP. As a matter of fact, All SOR games should have been in that compilation, to replace those other crappy classics on there.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Ugh, this game stinks. I can't believe I used to like this. Just because it has "Turtles" in it doesn't mean that it can be good. The beat 'em ups were so much better. Out of place enemies, Mousers, Foot Soldiers, etc. (who they look & act ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at all), harder difficulty, dumb A.I., bad graphics, I can go on & on. I did manage to beat it a few times when I was a child. I will definitely be ignoring this, & wait for the other ones to arrive.

Re: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Why in the world would people want to waste 500 points on this? You can go for more better Zelda games, meaning Zelda 1, A Link To The Past, & Ocarina Of Time. I did play it once on GBA, & I did manage to beat it, but it's hard. After that, I never touched it again. I also like the Wind Waker & Twilight Princess as well, but this & Majora's Mask are my least favorite two Zelda console games.
