@Heavyarms55 That's why it should be Asynchronouse. Back in Civ 5 on PC. I used to play epic length games for months with a full game on the largest map, "playing by email" but through an online client. SO I do my turn, it gets sent to the next person who gets a notification that it's his turn, and after a few days its my turn again, and I take it. Like Words with friends. That's how how they should treat Civ.
@abe_hikura Right! I'm so confused! THey release a fifty dollar port of a 20 year old game and everyone freaks out at how amazing it is, and I'm watching like "What the FORCED DLC???" And then they release this, which has the same game in it, plus 10 other games or whatever, has the same online capabilities, and is 20 bucks cheaper???? Like what the DRM POLICIES? How does capcom decide their pricing? Roll a dice? Or is it all about milking as much money from their fans as they think they physically can. Thank god I'm not a street fighter fan, or really a fan of any capcom games. I even gave up on Dead rising after 3.
The best RPG of all time? Have you ever played a Final Fantasy? IV? VII? Practically all of them have more epic storylines. What about Xenosaga? That trilogy has probably the most epic storyline ever.
What Breath of Fire 2 was epic cause it had 9 characters? Suikoden has 107.
The gameplay and balance in BOF2 was ridiculous. It was such a boring game, and yes the translation was horrible. All the games I mentioned are much better games, and there are many more that trump BOF2 in every way.
Be more careful when throwing around those words "Best RPG of all time"
"Considering SE's relationship with Sony, it doesn't seem likely that SE will cut a deal with Nintendo."
You're ignoring that they've released all those old Final Fantasy games on the GBA and DS, plus don't forget Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Square DID have an exclusivity agreement with Sony back in the day, but that's finished with, and now Square is partnering with whomever they feel is right for the job.
And I found this game way too hard, with too much battling, and not enough story. Still it was better than the first one.
I'm scared about this game. I played Metroid Fusion, and thought it was okay, but I never beat it. I'm really bad when it comes to beating games, maybe I'm just really bad at games. Side scrollers particularly. I got the original Metroid, and haven't beat it yet...or even come close. I'm scared to get Super Metroid, because I'm afraid it'll be the same thing. I'm so bad at Side scrollers, I wish Nintendo would release some games in different genres...
