Well I play more on Sony consoles these days and will be picking up PS4 at launch. So This does not affect me as much anymore. I feel bad for you guys with only Wii U's but you honestly should have seen it coming The Wii U was never going to have the 3rd party support we would like (history has proven this) I love my Wii U but its just a secondary console for me at this point for the Nintendo exclusives I want. So in conslusion this sucks but was predictable.
@Doma well to each their own I personally loved it and the characters. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion and its no more wrong or right then mine.
FE: Awakening was a beautiful game gameplay and storywise It got me to tear up at points. If that is not the sign of a great story I do not know what is. I cared about the characters. And the ending was brilliant its my current GOTY. And is a perfect example that The game does not have to be realistic to be meaningful. The Fantasy setting was perfect and It was meaningful. I honestly find that More fantastical games with stories elicit far more real emotions in me then realistic ones.
So Precursor does own the assets who cares if Dydack now works for them that changes nothing they still own the assets Dydack working there should not negate the sale.
@Peach64 Thanks for the clear up on that I did not know that it heavily used the cpu. I agree with you on the rest obviously if they spent the time they could get it working they just do not see it as a worthy investment at the moment. If they still do this crap if and when the Wii U has a good install base (when sales pick up) then we can say they are being anti-Nintendo but until then we should assume its just a business decision and one I do not blame them for.
@Peach64 yes this is a new engine you have that right. But the power argument is still utter bs The Wii U is more powerful then Ps3 and 360 and Frostbite 3 is running on those 2 systems so the power argument is still bs they just need to state the truth that it just is not worth it to them currently not that its to weak which is completely obviously untrue.
@Lionsgate You really though Kid Icarus Uprising was uncreative and the same stuff you have been playing for years, same with Luigis Mansion 2? Those were 2 big risks for Nintendo
I have literally 19 games for my Wii U 22 if you count the 3 vc releases. I have to much to play lol. So no lack of games here on my end. To be fair I have a ridiculously eclectic taste in games. I enjoy literally every genre.
@Sabrewing @Nintenjoe64 Actually Miyamoto did not tell them to change it to a Star Fox game he casually made a comment that their main character looked like Fox and the team took his worrd like gospel and ran with it. Miyamoto was just making a casual true comment.
@XXIV why would fighting in ww2 and trying to save Jews be bad I swear we try to be so politically correct these days that An actual world changing event that happened is off limits even playing as good guys.
You guys do realize more info is to come. at 11pm Japan time they will have another Nintendo direct that shows first and 3rd party Wii u games. And since that runs around the same time as the NY conference we will get that stuff here as well. And by that stuff I mean games news.
