that's just an extremely unfinished game in a plastic box.
Maybe I should rephrase, I'll get the game if they ever decide to release the entire game on the cart. I had this game setting in my Amazon wish list for a while, deleted it.
@Zuljaras I understand that completely, personally I was never a fan of the CD format and have always preferred carts to optical drives, they break rather easily and disc can get scratched. My nes games every single one of them from 1985-1990 still work no problem.
The option now is buy a cd download the entire game onto the hard drive or just download the game digitally.
It makes no sense to buy a physical version of a ps4 or xbox one game with the exception of maybe selling it down the road which I never do. I rather just download the digital version on those systems
The best option is having a cart format of the entire game imo.
The whole DRM issue is what is pushing me away from my gaming hobby, which leads to day one patches and everything else
@huyi doesn't matter, it still makes absolutely no sense to buy physical on the ps4 and xone because you STILL have to download the entire game onto your harddrive, doesn't matter where it come from you cannot play the games from the disc itself. There's many things wrong with digital only to much for me to get into. I'm glad Nintendo has physical carts, it's one of the very few things keeping my intrest in video games.
@BanjoPickles ohhhh man yes! Willow! I love that game, I actually still have the original nes cartridge, another odd ball hidden gem how about The Magic of Scheherazad? Not sure how many people remember or even played that game.
@OorWullie the only game I've played was Odallus and I herd of them because AGN's friend mention it on his show. It's great imo perfect retro, reminiscent of castlevania and another game I can't quite put my finger on, definitely buying again for the switch. I always wanted to try Oniken and now I will finally I'll definitely buy Moonrider if it comes to the switch to!
Odallus is a great game, I have it on pc. I will definitely pick up the physical game, the other game looks great as well reminds me of strider for some reason. I know the industry is being flooded with crap indies that all look alike but Odallus is not one of them it's retro goodness;)
@CharlieSmile the fact that it's 2019 and people are complaining about nonsense like this makes me think we are devolving. You are complaining about the sex of an imaginary video game character in a game with no character customization options in the first place, this isn't normal behavior
@Swaz physical games hold their value better, you can also sell them, you can also let a friend borrow them, you don't have to worry about having to redownload a game for any reason only to not find said game available on the shop anymore.

Re: Gods Remastered Is Bringing The Bitmap Brothers' Classic '90s Platformer To Switch
@BanjoPickles
I'd buy a remake or remaster of Faxanadu, Clash at Diamond Head, Wizards & Warriors and any 2d castlevania games in a heart beat.
In fact I'd take off work to play a complete remake of faxanadu for a day maybe a full week.
Same goes for Crystalis and Battle of Olympus
