I'm still on Chapter 5. Switched to Dream Team when BD started getting monotonous but I need to go back and finish before the sequel is localized!

I really hope the first one gets localized here in NA. I love the ghosty designs!

I'm so happy about these GBA games. I don't really mind that they're releasing them on Wii U instead of 3DS either, just because I'm so happy that they're being released! Definitely picking both of these up when they're available!

I'm gay. Like super gay. And I would have loved for same sex marriages to be included in this game. But the fact that you can make a Mii look however you want means I'll just make some male characters look female and switch the pronouns around in my head when I read them. It's not a huge deal, though still disappointing.

Honestly, I feel like Samus' Zero Suit thing is absolutely ridiculous. But having Sheik as a separate player from Zelda is great! I've always thought it should be that way. I can't wait to try her out

I'm super excited about this. I was hoping they'd announce something for this game that made it more than just a fighter. To me, this little bit of platforming/dungeon crawling dash is exactly what the game needed!

I guess it's possible that they will put so many new features in the Wii U version that when it's finally released it will feel like a whole new game. If that's the case I'd be much more likely to buy it!

I can't help but feel like Ninty kicked the Wii U in the face with these release windows. No one will want to buy the Wii U version at the end of the year because they'll already be burnt out on the 3DS version. At least, that's probably how I'll be feeling!

@ikki5 That's because sexism is still a huge issue today and it shouldn't be. The fact that women can get shot down for a job just because she MIGHT have a child? Disgusting. Women should be celebrated for their ability to create life, not condemned for it. And having a womb doesn't make you any better or worse at a job.

Having both male and female devs is absolutely important if big game companies want to make more money. Yes, you can have a team full of talented males only and that game will appeal to men everywhere plus some women. But it will more than likely be completely centered around the dudebro mentality. Now, get some women in that team who will help the game appeal to more than just dudebros (specifically women and more feminine men) and of course more people are going to buy it. The fact that more game companies don't do that is beyond me. It's just good business sense to make your product appeal to more than one demographic.

@unrandomsam Anorexia is caused by the media telling women that they need to be skinnier than they are in order to be loved. That is all. It's a disease that we as a society have created and it needs to be treated with love and respect. And objectified women aren't "normal" in the media. They're usually airbrushed to give them bigger breasts and slimmer waists.

Nudity isn't even the issue here. Or the size of their breasts. It's the fact that these women are portrayed as sex OBJECTS. If they were naked for any reason other than to attract the male gaze it would be different.

And no, this does not happen to men. Ever. Men with big muscles in games are idealized but not objectified. There is a HUGE difference.

That poll is proof that most of you have been brainwashed by the patriarchy. These posts saying, "sure it's sexist but whatever it's a game," are why sexism still exists. We need to be LOUD about this crap. If those were pictures of men in banana hammocks with oversized and over detailed genitalia you'd all be really f*cking uncomfortable right now. But because they're women and it's "Japanese culture" it doesn't matter? Screw that. Objectification is still objectification no matter where it comes from or who it targets and it's always disgusting.

Meh, I'm sure these were all Western developers. All of the best games for Nintendo systems are Japanese localizations anyway. Occasionally there will be a game I'm interested in from a Western dev (basically Bethesda and no one else) but for the most part I just don't care about western games any more.

Considering the fact that almost every game out there is specifically marketed to boys and lots (not all, but you can not deny that a lot of male gamers are this way) of dudes are absolutely jerks to female gamers, I give kudos to Nintendo UK for doing this. Girls and women need a safe space where they can be gamers without men hounding us. Unfortunately, I can see men trolling the comments in these videos just because they can.

Also, it's sad to see so many women-hating comments here. It's 2014 people, grow up already. Women can kick donkey at video games, and are often better than boys at them. So get back in the garage and fix my car

I'm already a fan of the mobile version of this game but those gameplay videos make the retail version look so great! Looks like they really put time and effort into enhancing it.

I just got a Wii U for Christmas and have been playing the crap out of it. Pikmin 3 is by far my favorite game for 1 player, but 3D World is the best multiplayer game I think I've ever played. I can see why it won!

There were so many great 3DS games out this year. I can't wait for Bravely Default to come out in the US so I can see what all this commotion is about

@Yorumi Did you know that women don't even need men any more to reproduce? It's possible to take DNA from bone marrow and insert it into the egg of a woman to produce a fetus. So your argument doesn't even work in reality, let alone a fictional story.

@JusticeColde The story would work any way the creators made it because it's fictional. If they had wanted the story to revolve around an alien race of dog-like creatures who's only way of reproduction was by splitting into two beings then it would work because that's how they created it. It just happens that they made it the way they did and could have easily changed anything.

All of these "I have nothing against women BUT...." comments are hilarious to me. The fact that you're all making such a big deal out of this is SEXIST. When a man speaks out against women it's normal and expected. When a woman says she wants to see more female leads in video games it's "OMG FEMINAZI DEMON WOMAN!!"

She's not going to change the outcome of the game just because she says a few words on a forum. Let the woman speak her mind and get over it.
