I agree with Nintendo's position. I played through the entirety of the fan-made translation, and throughout the adventure I kept asking myself how they would censor or reconfigure certain characters and situations from this title. I still find Earthbound (Mother 2) to be vastly superior in every way, but it was interesting to play none-the-less.
I loved getting through World of Light and getting some spirits. I have since fallen off, but I always have that junk food feeling for it (in that whenever I boot it up, I will love every minute of my experience). The game definitely deserves the success it has (and will continue to) achieved. I will look forward to the DLC characters and see how they play and feel.
I adored my 3DS and took it everywhere. Once I got my Switch, it never left my dresser leaving a few games unfinished. I eventually gave it away to a relative with over 30 games preloaded including Smash, various Pokemon, various Legend of Zeldas (new and old) etc. I have exclusively used the Switch as a handheld only utilizing the dock to charge while I continued to play when notified about low power.
After unlocking all characters in Smash Ultimate and finishing World of Light once, the buzz has worn off. Gonna jump back into Starlink and possibly get Diablo 3 over the holiday and put some time into that.
It is fantastic! The Adventure mode is really entertaining and the story mode was fun to blast through! The opportunity given to you once you finish the main story is rather neat. I missed it on Wii U and did not have a New 3DS to get its second release as well. I got it day one and have enjoyed it everyday since! It is a fantastic homage to an amazing series.
I spent over 500 hours, completed all the DLC back on PS3. New version or not, I am excited to travel to Skyrim (again) anywhere after taking a break in Hyrule. Regardless of it's version or form.
I was excited to try it out, but bummed that it is strictly multiplyer. I'm still Gonna get it to farm for clothes, but it would have been nice to have tested it.

Re: Random: Is State Of Play PlayStation's Take On Nintendo Direct?
I think this is great and all main console companies should adopt this format. Including Google.

@RupeeClock and don't forget the plotline with the Magypsies. That would be difficult to cut.
