Re: Random: Cadence Of Hyrule Guitarist Jokingly Petitions For Time Travel Cheater Stamp In Animal Crossing

@LifeRetro so you say if you time travel maybe the game is not for you? I am gonna put money you have done one of the following... a) went to someone you dont know irl town to buy/sell turnips b) dug holes around a large stone so you could maximize the material drops c) downloaded a pattern from another creator. All three of these are "time savers" or cheating time. 2 of which the creators did not intend the way for the game to be played. So by that point your entire argument is hypocritical and tbh quite gatekeepingly rude and disgusting.. maybe instead of virtue signaling and gatekeeping you should see you yourself are cheating.. maybe the game just isnt for you if you let how others play a game affect your game experience?

90 percent of ACNH players who say that time traveling is cheating - "log onto switch, buy turnips for 95 bells, check facebook for turnip prices, go to someone's island they never met irl sell the turnips for 628. Then go brag to their friends that they made millions, log off get on their phone.. go to forums and complain about time travelers cheating"

The other 10 percent "people post pictures of their cool towns that they clearly got by time traveling.. I now somehow feel less adequate in my real life, so therefore its totally wrong for them to do it because ---> I <--- let it affect me"

It's simple, time traveling is not cheating. It's a different way to play the game. PERIOD. It affects no one else, unless they themselves are so insecure in their life that it truly bothers them that someone in virtual world has a basement in their virtual house before them.. dont let me see anyone complaining about time travelers, wearing any outfits or using any pictures to hang on their walls that anyone else created... that would be taking a shortcut and something you didnt do yourself!

This article should of tackled something more important in gaming. Headline should of read "Cadence of Hyrule Song Creator Finds Way to Bring Gaming Gatekeepers Out of the Woodwork"

Far too often I see in multiple games people gatekeeping videogames. In a time where videogames are truly becoming a great way to escape the daily beating of terrible news, we should be enjoying each other in gaming, not trying to gatekeep just because someone plays a game different than you.

So my advice to you gatekeepers, enjoy the game the way you want. Let me enjoy the game the way I want.
