I've had my Switch since launch, and it's getting a bit old and achy from all the use. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while, especially for the better battery life. But I've been holding off due to the Pro rumours. Glad I did. I will happily upgrade now. I'm also super glad that the lan is now in the dock instead of taking up a USB slot.
@sketchturner Meh, I have to update various parts of my computer all the time. Including my mouse, keyboard and headset firmware. The smarter tech gets, the more they need these updates to smooth out bugs and improve interactions.
I thought he made that money by selling stuff he had owned and decided to get rid of. Which is perfectly fine, and normal. But reading the article, it's obvious the guy is just a dirty scalper.

AUD would be about $70 when GST is applied. Which is the price used for Nintendo's cheaper end titles. Yeah, I would pay that. They're good for quick play entertainment.
@dimi I think the KoTOR games are way overrated. If you have played it post Mass Effect, you realise that BioWare reused a lot of story elements but made them better in Mass Effect. I think people mainly get excited for it because it is a gritty Star Wars tale, but it doesn't really feel like Star Wars, definitely feels like a precursor to Mass Effect though. For a Star Wars game I much prefer Battlefront 2 classic, the Rogue Squadron series, Jedi Knight Academy, Fallen Order and heck, even the LEGO games.
They should release free map packs to keep people coming back and then charge for new characters and costumes to cover the costs of the maps. With over 30 million Deluxe players, they would make so much money. It's so ridiculous that they don't. The worst thing they can do is release a MK9 and split the user base, much like the terrible decision to split the Splatoon user base by introducing Splatoon 3.
Ugh, I cannot stand Epic. They bully small devs who don't accept their exclusivity deals, they try to buy up anything remotely popular, Fortnite is only kept alive by churning out pop culture content to milk more money off kids, they do not have any consideration at all for players. Tim Sweeney even stated that the developers should decide where the players enjoy games, not the players when defending his exclusive buying tactics. They are next level evil as far as game companies go. And they have their eyes on monopoly.
I wouldn't be surprised if it stays a console exclusive. Monster Hunter is massive in China, but they still haven't really gotten into the console market. So the PC release is mainly for them. It's also a loop hole for exclusivity deals, as console makers don't see PC as a competitor.
I'm totally betting that MHW2 will be exclusive to PS5 and XB with a PC release a year later.
@alexybubble
To progress through the story you will be given roughly 6 missions each rank that are considered primary missions. Of those 6 or so, you only have to complete about 4 of them. All primary missions are straight forward single monster hunts.
Gathering and transport missions are optional side quests that will unlock better food at the cafe, armour designs, gear etc.

With an update this big, it should have been numbered 13.0.0!
