@duffmmann not really. Legally his family can't stop anyone from using anything based on him. So even if his family didn't want Capcom using this character, they legally could. Same with Nintendo
Capcom technically doesn't require permission from the Lee family for this. For one thing, it's not actually Bruce Lee in the game. Second, even if it was he is dead so legally anybody can use fictional versions of him and they don't need permission from their family
Haters gonna hate. Sunshine is a good game. And for those complaining about the camera, go back and play Mario 64 and you'll see that game had a bad camera
@Giancarlothomaz I hate entitled Nintendo customers who complain all the time. Sony only released 5 games last year. Microsoft only released 2 Xbox One games last year. Nintendo has released 9 Switch games so far this year and they will release more, they tend to announce a game shortly before they release it. The games they've released so far: Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics, Paper Mario: The Origami King, Good Job!, Jump Rope Challenge, Pokemon Cafe Mix.
The image doesn't mean anything. As the article mentions, Nintendo did the same thing last summer and everyone thought it meant Nintendo would do something with Super Mario Sunshine. They ended up not doing anything. They just want to post a summer related image
Does anyone even still play the LittleBigPlanet series? The games were trash, especially the controls (which is the most important part of a platformer).
Gavin, you seriously never noticed this before? I'm pretty sure most people noticed this many years ago. And as others have said, this is pretty common in video games (especially in games with many different NPCs, it makes no sense to waste time making a different model for each of them).
The NES versions of those games are still good, so I think it's pathetic for butthurt YouTubers to be telling people not to buy the device because of that. Yes it's deceptive to give the press one version and consumers another, but for people like Hancock to say the product itself is bad is disgusting and makes me lose any respect I had for him
@mikegamer some emulators are better, many are worse. And Nintendo could successfully sue the people who download them, they just usually don't because it's a bad PR move (like when the RIAA went after people downloading MP3s, eventually they realized it looked better to just go after the sites offering them)
@Robo64 it's illegal, so Nintendo has the right to stop them. Also, Nintendo is one of the only companies that has decades old games that still sell. Look at the list of top selling eShop games last week, most of them are NES and SNES games. No one is clamoring to buy Alex Kidd games...
@Matthew010 that's a BS response, people pirate stuff no matter the price and availability. And even if the game is not available, it's still illegal to pirate. I fully support Nintendo in this. Technically they could also take legal action against anyone downloading ROMs
Lazy efforts by Activision. There's nothing bold about it, it's nothing more than the artist at the studio saying "screw it, I don't feel like doing my job". Adams view is hot already, but it's a hot steaming pile of something else
@Anti-Matter I have no sympathy for you, because the game IS available in North America (even if it's only as a eShop game). No one forced you to buy the PAL version instead of the North American version considering you have a North American 3DS
Also, not sure how you thought he was saying this could be the final game. He clearly said the series could continue, just that it might not be as big as this (meaning having every character in the history of the series).
I'm sure he works hard, but it's not like he does a lot of games. Including this game, he's done 4 games in the last 10 years (the only one that wasn't Smash Bros. was the 3DS game Kid Icarus: Uprising).
And he says this with every Smash game. And he always comes back, because he knows we want more Smash games

Was anyone actually confused? I thought it was pretty obvious how to pronounce it

@JeanPaul actually, we don't need to respect his families wishes. Legally anybody can use a dead person in their media without permission

@JayJ the lanyard literally has Animal Crossing characters right on it.
Re: Random: Someone Has Recreated The Mona Lisa Using Super Mario World Sprites
I was impressed until I got to the point where it said a computer program did it, meaning the user had nothing to do with making it

@KingBowser86 Not sure how Cloud could even slightly be considered a Sony character. Sony didn't make the game or own it.

Re: Chinese Gaming Giant Appears To Rip-Off Zelda, Mocking Nintendo Fans And Lying In The Process
This is nothing new for the company, they've released dozens of iOS and Android games that are ripoffs of PUBG and Fortnite.
Re: Meet The Nintendo Snack Pack, A Fan-Made Portable TV With Built-In Retro Games
It would also be illegal for him to sell this because it's committing copyright theft from dozens of companies.

@Silly_G exactly, it's like how they shut down the SwapNote app on 3DS after a single pervert sent a nude pic of himself to a kid.

Re: Nintendo Confirms List Of Third Party Supporters For Nintendo Switch
@ThanosReXXX I have not seen any confirmation of Crytek (which owns CryEngine) supporting the Switch yet
Re: Nintendo Confirms List Of Third Party Supporters For Nintendo Switch
@Anti-Matter You may not like HHD (neither do I), but it sold pretty well.
Re: Nintendo Confirms List Of Third Party Supporters For Nintendo Switch
@Spoony_Tech Rockstar Games is owned by Take-Two Interactive, which IS on the list. So not seeing Rockstar doesn't mean anything
