@Pcob, I think that the Wii controls are perfect for this game, in fact it's one of the best games I've ever played on the Wii - I would think that playing it with a 'normal' console controller would actually subtract from the game.
The only fault with this game is that it's very short, but still well worth playing.

Bought this last night, and I thought it was pretty good, great music and although the platforming isn't amazingly innovative it's good fun!
