Re: Review: Ghost Song - A Potent Mix Of Metroid And Dark Souls, But Maybe Not On Switch

I don't know why people aren't sick of games that are little more than a conglomeration of various other games instead of an original idea.

It seems games these days, especially a lot of indie games, are little more than bits and pieces of the games the creators grew up on, or were "inspired by". I'm getting especially sick of seeing "souls/rogue likes".

The video game market crashed in the 80s because little effort was being put into creating something unique and of quality. That's what a lot of these games are like, and it makes me wonder if we're headed in the same direction.

I am so sick of the Nintendo cult members. Let me make something clear to you: There are other game companies out there, including before Nintendo was around!

Most games owe a debt to Atari, who owes a debt to Space Wars. Nintendo was NOT the first (and only) game company out there. More importantly, most of what you think was "stolen" from Nintendo was actually stolen by Nintendo from other companies, not just Atari, but SEGA.

Many innovations in the industry, such as 3D, motion controls, etc, were created by SEGA. When you see a character doing something while standing still, such as cracking their knuckles, tossing their hair, and so on, were the result of copying Sonic when he was not moving. LOZBOTW was a copy of other open world games, which exist pretty much because of Shenmue from the SEGA Dreamcast.

I could list a ton of things Nintendo took from others, SEGA included, but the Nintendo Cult would probably try to deny the truth. I like Nintendo games, but I'm sick of the blind loyalty and ignorance of facts their fanatics have.

First off, you realize that people in certain countries have names that don't fit with what we expect from English speaking countries, don't you?

Second, while I haven't played enough of the game to form an opinion on how it should be rated, it's certainly much better than all the negative reivews it's received. I personally think there's a lot of anti Sega bias out there, and a great SEGA game will get a lower score than a mediocre Nintendo one. Maybe these people are overcompensating for the overcompensating hate toward SEGA?

Third, just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean it's a bot, "hater", "troll" or any of the other accusations you millennial and gen z kids resort to when you can't form an actual argument or opinion. Most of you conform to the slang and internet jargon that's been around since the advent of the internet instead of using your own thoughts.
