This was a better week than a lot of months have been.

I'm actually surprised. The trailer for this was promising. Oh well... I guess there are no thing as good surprises.

There still should have been a 3DS version, especially with those 3DS appsthey're making alongside the game.

According to VGChartz, this is at about 800,000 worldwide. Admittedly, they have some accuracy problems, but I can imagine this selling a million worldwide easily by the end of the year.

I doubt its likely to be much higher. I heard only 5% of sales were digital.

Using my calculator, I can therefore determine that the current value of coins collected in Mario is $2,512,422,351,936,000, or about as much money as the entire world makes combined over the course of 33 or so years.

That ought to buy Apple.

I expect Americans to download a lot more.

DQX is an MMO, these numbers are fine. What really interests me are the 3DS LL's and Mario's legs, plus the 30,000 jump for the Wii,

The West is still inhospitable to 3DS games I see.

I affectionately call my original model DS "Old Chunky." My brother still plays GBA and DS games on it.

I'm thinking this will sell 3 to 3.5 million in Japan total. Honestly, not releasing a 3DS version with at least added 3D effects and greater resolution is going to kill this game's legs.

Not my thing, but I know people who prefer having jumbo sized handhelds. They must be thrilled.
