This is my single most anticipated wii-game, I really hope it gets localized to Europe!!

Sigh, finally beat this sucker after 16 years! It's been frustrating, maddening, antagonizing... but it was worth it!! What a game. Only thing I didn't like was that stupid bracelet, took me forever to beat the second last boss with it!

Re: What SEGA games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?

Sage_Joch

Ok, after some research:

  • Sorcerian (MD)
  • Dungeons & Dragons: warriors of the eternal sun (MD)
  • Fatal Labyrinth (MD)
  • Golden axe warrior (SMS)
  • Ultima IV (SMS) (not sure this was actually published by sega)
  • Crystal warriors (game gear) (as I recall correctly, when the sega master system was announced, it was also implied game gear games would become available under this banner, so i'll include it)
  • Wing war (VCA)
  • Miracle warriors: seal of the dark lord (SMS)
  • WARSONG

on a side note I also like to see Dune 2 (MD) see released

Hmm, the video also has me confused. I guess I"ll wait for the review to decide if I will purchase it or not. Had my eye on this for a long time so I hope it delivers!

Re: Secret of Mana

@croomz: back in the days you could actually play this game with up to three people, but for that to happen you had to have the snes multitap cord (of what else it was called). Sweet memories playing nights on end with my brother, one of the first games to really touch me.
here's to hoping it will be released in the west very soon!

@ Iggy, you must definitely try this game out. It plays the same as the sublime Secret of Mana, but has a darker tone to it, and a unique (well certainly at the time) way of casting spells. (magic is called alchemy here and it's about collecting ingredients and finding the recipes)
For fans of great action-rpg's of the 16-bit era, this is not one to miss!!

Man, this game looks really promising! I was wondering though, is it recommended that you play through episodes 1 to 4 in chronological order following the storyline, or can they be played perfectly at random? And won't starting with PS IV kind of ruin the other games as they're apparantely not up to the standards of 4?
