what about data on the sd card? how does that work or is they only downloaded games and you just redownload? what about save data in the dd card ?

i’m one of the few looking forward to it but nintendo hasn’t taken payment from anyone let alone sent it out so maybe i won’t be playing it - certainly not tomorrow - thanks nintendo store uk - useless as ever

ok cool but if i do system transfer first where is my acnh data? i assume stays on the old switch? but as i have digital copy can i then re download on new switch? then without opening it on new switch get acnh tool in both and then do that ? it’s just not obvious and the two guides - system and acnh dint in anyway mention each other -

so before i even think about acnh i do the system transfer ? when do i move my as card ? this article is just moving acnh - which seems simple but it’s not in context of a system transfer . when do i download the tool ? when do i re download acnh in the new system etc etc

I got a switch launch day and it’s barely seen it’s dock so as a 99% handheld user i’m definitely upgrading to this but as they seem to be focussing on improving the experience for the handheld users let’s hope that they fixed the issues around cracks etc - ive got a new back on mine , pieces missing and the right rail is broken so can’t play without detached joy ons or my pro controller which is doable but i don’t want this one to fall apart too!!!

what bothers me the most is how many are now on ebay for ludicrous prices - surely build a bear abd ebay can stop this? it’s not like they aren’t being scalped? there is no excuse and ebay should refuse to see them more than cost

This there only zelda game i gave up on and it was purely due to the motion controls - the amount of times i failed to hit an enemy because the motion controls just didn’t work was so annoying i just stopped playing - glad i get the chance to play it through although by all accounts it’s one of the weakest zelda anyway... but at least i can decide now :0)

if people have hacked items they have broken the code of conduct and therefore it’s to be expected . is having the hacked tree hurting anyone? no but it still breaks the rules you’ve agreed to so suck it up and either stop doing it or loss get banned .. i don’t time travel but i don’t object to it - that isn’t cheating IMO and ninty are trying to curb that by drip releasing things .... which i kinda prefer - avoids spoilers which is my main issue with TT but i can easily avoid them i guess

glad it’s here at last but was hoping for way more colour puzzles - they offer a challenge that normal picross doesn’t anymore although the really big puzzles should :0) ... and the multi big pic ones infuriate me for some reason!

can t understand the hate - i’ve put a lot of time in and spent nothing - there is lots to do without paying - i came first in both cups so far so either everyone in my group isn’t paying either and getting extras or i’m just quite good at it ? of course it isn’t as good as a real mario kart for for a few races i can play quickly anywhere it’s quite good fun

It needs way more colour puzzles - the older types are getting a bit old - it needs something adding for S4 - even Nintendo themed pictures would help.... and 3D picross needs to come back too

So my switch saves will happen on my console as normal but some of them will also go to the cloud - this means if my console explodes I will have back up in the cloud and if I cancel my subscription it’s ok cos they save to the switch anyway? I couldn’t lose anything unless I cancelled and my switch exploded on the same day right?!

thrvptoblem with no scores or something similar is that there are too many games now. If 30 new indies come out this week I don’t have time to wade though 30 reviews so I don’t get any.... bit on the other side - we live in this wonderful age of communication and good games often get known through word of mouth and sharing

@slinkyjynx I about 12 hours in and just met the sixth character - I’m currently ok with it but I do feel that you will have to go donchalter one of everyone and then chapter 2 of everyone plus some side quests and sonon in order to play the game ‘properly’ otherwise it’s a grind fest . I think this will work though as constantly getting some story albeit one person and one chapter at a time :9)

Surely the percentage of profit is more important? Obviously the switch revenue is low as it’s got a fraction of consoles out there :-/

@Kimyonaakuma surely the versatility of the switch is precisely why labo can exist? And it should - it’s excellent and it’s a shame it’s not sold as well as others as it has enormous potential .

I’m really lookin forward to Labo. It’s not over priced IMO and the amount people will be able to do with the garage is really impressive. Typical hate on something different before anyone’s really had anything to do with it

yeah for me a 3D platformer is Mazza 64 , DK 64 and Banjo... crash was left to right or into or out of the screen - not true 3D IMO

Yeah - releasing all three in one day is ridiculous... I got Miitopia (awesome) and brain training (finally after 3 years) and although ill get Pikmin I will wait ... not cos can’t afford but with daily brain training and. A need to 100% ‘Topia and a switch to play - I guess I’m busy ;0)

My local Game is always a good experience but I seldom buy New as they are too expensive ... and say the switch want released - who would they blame then?!?

@PlywoodStick all I know is that SF2 on my snes is probably my most played game all fall time outside of Mario karts or rpgs , the alphas are good too I'd agree but SF2 still tops them - I can't even remember three ... fours ok - five is awful

@Morph exactly! If BotW had some weird bad motion control mini game that you never had to play would you mark it an 8 instead of a ten? This is SF2 pure and simple - I paid 60 quid for it in my SNES so for me it is cheaper :9) SF2 is the best SF by far - who needs all the later stuff?!

I'm a Nintendo fanboy and have had all consoles bar the NES on launch - I can also honestly say that apart from an initial go for the sake of it I have never used a browser on a Nintendo console or Netflix or any of these apps. It's a games machine. Yes maybe people haven't got multiple devices to do this but then they don't know any better and shouldn't expect the Switch to be their gateway into surfing the net and watching Netflix - cos that's not what it's for - waste of precious memory is all it is .

@aaronsullivan no one wants wiimotes anymore or motion control.... the 3ds crowd are not casuals .... each handheld has been backwards compatible - to change that would be a bad decision.

@aaronsullivan I'm not sure - I actually like the 3D and streetpass which will almost certainly not carry over and if it's not backwards compatible....? What of all the massive titles still coming out soon? And what's the upgrade? Just making it into a vita? The NX is supposed to call casual gamers back with whatever gimmick/innovation it has - this split console/handheld will not do that so hopefully it's still just rumours...

So this replaces my 3ds?!?! Otherwise I have to carry two consoles around?!? I want my streetpass !!! This doesn't sound right at all - the Gita was essentially a handheld PS3 and that failed... two handhelds doesn't work
