@CB85 Because that kind of makes the entire game structure less defined. If you are combining multiple male-male or female-female units, you are limiting the 'child' mechanic and thus completely altering the game experience.
Not entirely sure that this poll includes gamers who are even paying attention. The sheer fact that Devil's Third is on this list with all of the bad press its been getting leads me to believe that many of the people polled don't even play Nintendo consoles. I know Xenoblade isn't the most popular franchise on the planet, but it has quite a bit more of a following than many people are letting on.
Good thing Xenoblade Chronicles X's voice work will be done before any of this hits the fan. Because after that, I really don't care. Start fresh. Let the Tara Strongs and Troy Bakers find a new source of income. If I was being paid 1/10 of what these people make in the average year, I would live my life to the fullest and never complain.
Unions are awful, evil things. And this one is no exception, no matter how hard they try to justify it.
@EllenJMiller It absolutely does if you're talking in the grand scheme of things. I'm certain it will be a fantastic title and I can't wait to get my hands on it. However, not everyone feels the same way. The quality of a particular title doesn't guarantee that it will sell as well as a potentially mediocre well-known title (see Assassin's Creed, COD, and so on).
Ahhh... Galaxy 2. While it lacked some of the story elements of Galaxy 1, I felt the game on the whole was better. The new power-ups are well-implemented without being overbearing, the difficulty level increased significantly (which was good given that Galaxy 1 was way too easy)... just overall one of the best gaming sequels that has ever been and ever will be, and an even better game overall given the sheer brilliance of its predecessor. One of my top ten games of all time, no question.
@IceClimbers Well, that's Capcom for you. I'm hopeful of a Great Ace Attorney localization at this point, but I can also see why so many people are saying they don't think its happening. There's a very fine line between optimism and skepticism with this announcement and how it relates to GAA.
@nessisonett If I hadn't already been halfway through case 4, that little hint there would have really irked me. It still did, but seeing as I'm not far from that moment, I'll get over it.
@ghostjoshu Dual Destinies absolutely needs to be played after you've finished, bare-minimum, the first game AND Apollo Justice. I guess the second and third titles aren't completely necessary, but they do flesh out Phoenix's character a lot more leading up to Apollo Justice and Dual Destinies. And the original trilogy as a whole is just plain stellar.
@ghostjoshu You might be a little rusty, but that is easily one of the longest cases in the series. If you haven't moved on to the next case (case 5, "Rise from the Ashes"), just know that one is even longer. "Rise from the Ashes" is the longest case in the series, without question.
@Peace-Boy To be fair, I'm only about halfway through case 4 in Dual Destinies, so I haven't seen Fulbright's arc resolved yet. I just feel like there needs to be a blend between the pre-Apollo Justice and post-Apollo Justice characters in 6. I'm all for not dwelling on the past, but characters like Larry Butz, Gumshoe, OIdbag, Byrde, and so on are what made this franchise so beloved. Even if they don't all return, we need at least a few to hold some role of significance. Hell, I'll settle for seeing Franziska again.
@Peace-Boy If there is no Gumshoe, I will question all of humanity. That guy should have his own games by now; I can't believe he was replaced in Dual Destinies.

@AyeHaley Well there are reasons for why it isn't.

Fantastic game. Easily the best released on the 3DS this year.
Re: Two Wii U Hits Are Included in TIME's Top 10 Games of 2015
I'm going to say that Xenoblade X wasn't even in contention. Which is stupid.
Re: Nintendo Is Making Female Characters Cover Up For The Western Version Of Xenoblade Chronicles X
Tweets from Nintendo insiders are saying that her age has NOT been changed. Can we get a source on saying it has/hasn't?
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th October (North America)
@Wuneye They'll probably reveal it on the eShop official page later today.

@EllenJMiller We can only hope.
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th September (North America)
Nothing for me this week. Which is good, because I have far, far, far too many things I still need to play.
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th September (North America)
@Drac_Mazoku @EmmatheBest A delay was announced yesterday. It won't be out for at least another week, though no specific date has been set.

@ricklongo Its not just you. The fact that this article even exists is pretty laughable.

I don't think Cap'n Cuttlefish wants anything to do with these Crabby Cakes.
