I never play as him in Brawl or Project M, but man, King Dedede is bursting at the seams with character and charm--I'm glad he's being included in the roster again. Just look at the pose he strikes when holding down tilt! And how he slaps his belly... lol.
The backgrounds are really interesting. They're beautiful and simple at the same time. I wonder if having the large silhouettes cuts down on game's size, considering there are over 1,800 rooms... In either case, the backgrounds make everything look very abstract. Hopefully the music pairs well with the imagery. This game seems like it may be too big of a commitment for me, though.
Does anyone know if there are plans to bring this game to the American app store? It seems right up my alley. Also, did anyone else notice the part in the trailer where some of the characters assembled themselves into what looked like a Power Rangers Megazord? O.O
If Level-5 is interested in how "technology advances" it would make sense for them to use the current gen. hardware (at least in my mind, which may just be wishful thinking). It's hard to tell if they're going to take a new spin on some of their previous titles or try creating a new "genre" altogether. Still, since it's Level-5, I have confidence the story will be great.
If Nintendo were to remove its region-locking policy I think it would be a gradual implementation rather than one fell swoop like most would hope for. I suppose there are, have been, and will be plenty of attempts at creating a (illegal) workaround, which definitely demonstrates some interest. Nintendo has already explicitly stated its stance, though, so I don't see them changing their policy in the foreseeable future. This hack, like others, will probably get blocked in a future system update if it grows in popularity.
This seems like a familiar formula, which may explain why the trailer's narrator offered comic relief. I think it seems charming and potentially fun, but yeah, a review would help in my decision to download it.

After seeing December's Nintendo Direct I'm ridiculously excited for the Bravely Default demo!
