@Tipehtfomottob This gameplay doesn't show the intro or any cut-scenes (some were in the Game Informer's gameplay), maybe that's why you cannot connect to Kave yet.

Looks awesome! Pretty graphics, dynamic platforming and I see a kind of rhythm or flow to the action. Secrets, too, love them in such games

The devs did admit they looked up to DKC but going by their official site (http://www.7lvls.com/jetkave/), this one has a bit stronger focus on combat and story. Plus I imagine being able to hover most of the time will make it play quite different than DKC.

@Franklin It looks like 2D and 2.5D platformers simply sell better nowadays than 3D ones. Even looking at Nintendo's portfolio it looks that way.

I've got my doubts about how this game is promoted, getting kiddish Harry Potter vibes. But 'I'm sure the actual game will deliver

Without DKCR on the horizon, this looks like the next great thing for 2.5 platformers Personally, I like it better than the new yooka.
