@Mando44646 The PS4 game is $14.99, the first DLC pack with 1 track and 4 cars is $2.99 and the second DLC pack is 2 new tracks and two new game modes and that is $4.99. So the total is $22.97. So, against buying individually, you're only paying a couple of bucks for the new features because this has all the DLC integrated plus some new features. The Switch's Nitro Edition has an all-new cross-play ready network system (hopefully we will allow iOS and Android players and Switch gamers to battle it out (plans to be tvOS and Android TV ready too), it has also been heavily optimised to run on Switch at 60hz and of course, it now includes the most-requested feature from customer feedback - 2 player split-screen game modes for both Online and Offline racing. Hope that makes sense.
@Nesstephan it's a nice idea, but I'm under the impression that the the types of notifications you can receive on Switch are quite limited. Download Complete, Freind Invites and system level stuff. I don't think it's like a mobile app situation where you can just ping anything.
@Nesstephan Yeah it's a shame Nintendo don't have an auto-refund system. We would have used that of course. We will do what we can for customers - much harder to reach them on consoles.
Just to clarify, there is no Vita, Android or mobile version of "Table Top Racing: World Tour". I think you're confusing it with the first mobile ios and Android game "Table Top Racing"...this is from the same brand, but not a port of the first game. This is the full TTR World Tour and the Nitro Edition version of it is for Switch. All DLC, new splitscreen, rebuilt Networking with full host migration, 60fps in 720p Handheld/Desktop mode and 1080p TV mode. Squeezing this former PS4 game into the X1 chipset and then adding splitscreen was quite a big effort. I'm sorry it's not the pricing you were hoping for, but it's a fun game that starts out slow...but gets pretty intense and challenging later on. One of the things we have noticed with some of the reviews is that most of the larger outlets haven't really had the time to scratch beneath the surface by giving it a longer play time. There's more than first meets the eye...as you get deeper into the game you do have to use your brain a bit more and start exploring the Wheel Weapons and some of the Special Events definitely require some out-of-the-box-thinking to get 3 stars on them. 9 different game modes in the single player campaign, destructable objects in the environment to open up shortcuts after you unlock the Super-Weapons. It's a decent fun game, especially online and with friends. Just to make it completely clear, TTR World Tour (inc. Nitro Edition) has never been released on a mobile/handheld devices. This has got a solid 20-30 hour single player campaign mode too which works out at about £1 per hour - not too bad. It is a full console game, not a port of a mobile game. Hope some of you discover it if and when the publisher chooses to take part in a sale. As a footnote to the pricing issue, we are also planning to put it out on Physical Release too and we are unable to undercut that effort with the digital version at the moment - we will see if there's some flexibility in that. Any questions, I'm happy to answer them Nick
We are a tiny team of two at the moment. Just me doing the social interactions. We do have a publisher partner, Greenlight Games, so I haven't played the Indie card, but we've been completely Indie for 7 years until now, but with Greenlight, we've been able to work with a Polish team called Fuego games to get this optimised to a point where we can bring splitscreen and still keep 60hz. I've been scouting the eshop for a while and I'm pretty proud that TTR will stand up next to the good stuff. Thanks if you did pre-order it. Really appreciate that.
Thanks for taking a look. If you do, I hope you'll enjoy it. Most people do, round about the 3rd trophy things get more involved...and some of the Special Events definitely require a bit of thought to get 3 stars.
@Bondi_Surfer We are very platform agnostic. If it's a decent game, it's a decent game...I'm just pleased we've squeezed what was a PS4 title into the switch, retaining 60hz and adding split screen. Very proud of the switch version.
That option isn't in there are launch, but there some presets that allow it to be played at the Supercar level with Super weapons and Wheel Weapons active. If we get a chance to patch that in, I'll keep it in mind. The default layout us good for conquering the game, but I'm also aware that customised controls can really help many disabled people enjoy the game. It is really just a time and testing issue.
@bluedogrulez I don't I normally comment on price as we do have a publisher as a partner, but just from a gamers POV, it works our $1 per hour just for the Single player campaign - probably over 30 hours of challenges. Plus you're getting all the DLC we've ever made for the brand included and of course you get countless hours of Online play as well as Online and Offline Splitscreen too - I don't think it's unreasonable ...especially at pre-order prices But we do welcome the feedback.
@WhoaManWtF I was just trying to capture now, but I've had to start a new saved game - had to delete my Cheat-Enabled version - Oops. I'll have to play through the first 4 Championships in single player mode first and then try and capture you a Supercar race/challenge.
Its defintiely not a mobile port. "Table Top Racing: World Tour" is a full 8-player networked console game - it's has never been on a mobile device. You might be confusing it with the first 2012 game "Table Top Racing" on iOS and Android. We will try and get some new videos up soon.
Yeah, it's basically I reckon it's 99.5% at 60hz - maybe drops a couple of frames when there's a lot of weapons action in online mode (it's quite a strain at that point on any platform) but I also hate 30hz, so I always try and keep the goal 100% 60hz. TTR's good fun, a really good laugh online and now with Switch (only), 2 player splitscreen with a friend just adds an extra dimension to it. I've had a lot of fun playing as a "team" with someone sat next to me during QA sessions and then flipping the script on them and taking out my so called teammate - it's a brutal strategy that you can only expect revenge from. The other thing I love is that the single player game is sneakily rewarding - teaching you slowly and shifting the boundaries of what's possible as the speed and complexity goes up. It's a well balance and lengthy campaign mode that'll have you tearing your hair out and then suddenly trying a little "out of the box" thinking to get those 3 stars and then you realise it was designed to be done that way and so you get more out of it the longer you stick with it - that's what reviewers under deadline pressures are sometimes not always the best way to discover a game. Hope that helps.
@OorWullie Difficult for reviewers to give it the time to find out what the rest if the game is like....TTR starts out pretty steady at the "Cult Classics" entry level, but gets quite fast and intense...here's a Supercar Pursuit challenge from the PS4 version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImaInNM46mU&t=39s
@Bondi_Surfer Hi and thanks for the comment. Keen observation there...FYI to keep ~60hz on Switch (and also in Splitscreen mode), sometimes the CPU cars don't get their grounding shadows from certain camera perspectives - it's an optimisation for framerate purposes. The trailer has captured a bit of that. But in normal gameplay you don't notice.
Hey guys, Nick from Playrise here, just wanted to clear things up a bit, we haven't, as yet, announced which platforms TTR: World Tour will be going to - but having seen a positive response (even if it's disappointment - it's kinda a good indicator), we'll certainly talk to Nintendo about what we might be able to do. I'm not gonna commit one way or another at the moment - MK8 is fantastic, but I think some of the observations elsewhere about us being a very different prospect to MK8 is fair and everyone here at Playrise is platform agnostic and we just want to get our games into as many real gamers hands as possible. We'll keep you updated as we go along. Thanks for reading. Nick

I've detailed the comparative PS4 pricing above. It a couple of bucks difference if you factor in the DLC.
