@VENOMVSCARNAGE Can't say I agree, because Melee has the worst balancing in a game I have ever seen. It's not uncommon knowledge that Fox and Falco are the best in the game, and almost NO big tournaments ever have any other character take the title. In Smash 4 (which has the highest amount of characters thus far) Nearly every tournament has had a unique character win, including DK and King D.D.D., who are both considered "bad". Why is this? Because it is balanced, and is possibly the most balanced game in Nintendo's library. Long story short, I don't think a large roster hurts balancing at all, and in fact helps give a wider option for all playstyles, instead of restricting your players to picking only the top 3 characters in the game. (I love both Melee and Sm4sh, they both are my favs, but I even being competitive with Melee, I still know the flaws to it)
