I'd already bought my Wii U but my brother was one of those who purchased his following the Xbox One announcement. We're both going with Wii U and PlayStation 4 this generation. Really like my JRPGs and imagine I'll be well catered to with those consoles (also got a 3DS and Vita for Shin Megami & Fire Emblem etc).
I've previously owned both an Xbox and an Xbox 360 but don't personally like the direction Microsoft seems to be heading with their next console (charging a fee to play copies of games you've borrowed, lack of indie support, more focus on it being a multimedia machine than a games system).
