This morning on UK TV I saw the advert for Minecraft: Story Mode. At the end of the advert they showed the boxed versions for Xbox and PS but below that the logo for the Wii U version was also shown.

@NintendoLee tobtell you the truth, I didn't pay attention to that bit. I just opened it checked they worked with isolation and the discarded the packaging. Is there anything noticeably different between the EU and Australian versions that I should be aware of or worried about?

I don't know if it helps but I have the Splatoon 3 Pack from Grainger Games and have no issues with it at all.

Not had chance to read all the above comments but perhaps the Wii U editon if Watch Dogs was delayed to not compete with Mario Kart 8.That way, at a later date, people would then have the money to purchase that game as well instead of a this or that choice being forced upon them because I know which one I would choose.

Space Harrier is good but Outrun would've been better, for me anyway.

@goldbricks23, I was just about to ask about the 3ds. If you have that and a Wii U, can you mot have the same account on both? Doesn't seem like you can.

@seronja Thanks for the tip. I really want to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf but I'm happy to wait. Also New Super Mario Brothers 2,Paper Mario and the Professor Layton games look really good and I've never played any of them.

Also I know that Tesco here in the uk have a deal whereby you can purchase a 3DS XL and get a power adaptor (third party I assume) for £160!

I am tempted to get a 3ds XL over a Wii U at the moment. I'm going to wait until after Christmas to see what bundles/offers are available .

I'm hoping that the Wii U virtual console will allow you to transfer your Wii virtual games over in the eShop.

Looks to me like anything from the Wii can only be stored and played from the sd card and can't be controlled from the gamepad. Well that's the gist I get anyway.

Hopefully this will answer any questions about playing games directly from external hard drives, etc.

I'm in the UK but don't have a 3ds to be able to enter.

The way I see it is that this pachter chap works for a company and says things that are deemed controversial so that (a) it becomes a talking point and (b) keeps the company and himself in the news.

Is it possible that this would happen in the future to the DS/3DS/future Nintendo Handhelds?

I would imagine that somewhere in the bowels of Nintendo HQ that a group of boffins are planning Nintendo's next home and handheld masterpieces but that's all they'll be, plans!

@henmii sorry but that wipeout 3 is not the racing game you'd want. Unfortunately its the third in the series of total wipeout tv series console games apparently.

I hope that the Miiverse phone app is android compatible from the start.

As nice as pretty looking graphics are, all I need from the Wii U is a good selection of first and third party games that are enjoyable to play. My motto is "Graphics alone do not a game make."

I hope it never comes to Nintendo teaming up with apple or sony, that would be a dark day. Now partnering with Sega, I could handle that.

I've just got back from the Manchester comic con and managed to get a go of the 3DS XL at the Nintendo unleashed stand. I had a go of the new super Mario brothers game and found the handheld really comfortable to use and having a larger screen made viewing the 3D effect a bit easier on my eyes.

PS: I also met Warwick Davis but I'm just bragging now!

Also I noticed that Play.com has listed a 3DS XL charging cradle for £19.99.

I know its not Amazon but I'd love to be able to access my Marvel comics digital subscription from the WiiU and read them on the Gamepad.

Now that was good, still leaves me with more questions than answers. Looks as though only one Wii U Game Pad per console or do people think that this is something that they will go in to more detail as E3 continues?

At some point in the future don't people think that hardware will tend to plateau and perhaps be more small refinements in what they can achieve? What will happen to the next gen of consoles every x amount of years?

I just wish they would release the NES version for me to play on the Wii.
