@Andy_Witmyer I feel like you came to the wrong conclusions about some of these things. As a certain character outright states "All that exists is reality." Aionios was no illusion, and the people born in it are described as "future lives" who will be born again at some point after time starts moving again, and whose experiences in Aionios will be a part of who they are. None of the three game's stories were pointless, they all needed to happen to give the worlds a future. The other option was annihilation.
